NYC Officer Does the Whip and Nae Nae at Brooklyn Block Party

If you ask officer James Ferrazzo, there's absolutely nothing wrong with one of New York City's finest taking a little time out of his busy crime-fighting schedule to get his groove on.

In a viral video that was posted to YouTube on Friday, James can be seen in the middle of a crowded Brooklyn block party, happily dancing to Silento's "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)."

According to the New York Daily News, James was a welcome presence at the fun-filled shindig. Daiyana Gordon, the woman who shared the clip online, told the site, "It was a great way of him showing the kids and the community that he is a regular person especially with all the negative publicity police officers have been getting."

Apparently, the block party attendees weren't the only ones impressed with the officer's moves. The YouTube clip has over 100,000 views and counting.

Obviously, some of the interest comes from seeing a uniformed officer bonding with citizens in such a relatable way, but we can't deny that the main draw is watching pretty much anyone do the Whip and Nae Nae. For instance, the ever-charming Riley Curry made the Whip and Nae Nae her dances of choice on her third birthday, and more recently, One Direction learned their Whip/Nae Nae skills from a young fan in Kansas City.

Seriously, if you still don't have your Whip and Nae Nae perfected by now, make your way to this clip of the Suga and Spice Girls totally killing the dances and you'll be block party-ready in no time.

Watch: This Company Secretly Fed Dog Food to Taste Test Volunteers

Dogs are commonly referred to as man's best friend, but just because they make the most amazing cuddle partners ever doesn't mean we want to share meals with them - and our reluctance has nothing to do with feeding table scraps to pets.

Here's the deal: A company called Freshpet fed unsuspecting volunteers dog food in its most recent ad. Did this company think this would be an effective strategy for demonstrating the freshness of their product? Who knows, but they went all out with the experiment, presenting the canine cuisine to a group of taste testers in the form of elaborately plated meals like chicken tacos, hamburgers and spaghetti and meatballs. The volunteer group, which included people of all age ranges, gobbled the grub right on up. As they ate, their reactions were filmed.

Surprisingly, most of the taste testers enjoyed the food.

"I like the meat in here a lot," one taste tester said. Another volunteer claimed it was the best burger he'd ever tasted.

However, when Freshpet revealed the secret ingredient, some of the volunteers swiftly changed their opinions on what they initially considered to be fine dining, while others praised the food and continued to eat.

Um, yeah. We definitely won't be volunteering for any taste-testing sessions anytime soon.

liam payne confirmed louis tomlinson baby briana jungwirthWe're getting closer to having Louis Tomlinson spill the beans on being a baby daddy - his One Direction bandmate, Liam Payne, has confirmed the baby buzz in a new interview.

So this is really happening, guys. Liam said so.

Liam talked about Louis and Briana Jungwirth expecting a baby, saying that his bandmate is "very excited" and taking it "very seriously."

Liam told Magic Radio's Jo Parkerson: "Well obviously I was a bit shocked, but he's taken super well to it. And he's very excited with what's going on with him at the moment and I feel like sometimes stuff happens like that...he's taking it very seriously."

As for Briana, Liam says, "Yeah she's really nice, she's a lovely girl."

How to Get These 5 Bloggers' Insta-worthy Looks for WAY Less

PFW SS2014: Street Style Day 6
When it comes to Instagram, we all have our favorite fashion accounts that we hit up when we're in need of some quick style inspo ideas. The only downside? When it comes to our favorite fashion bloggers' Insta #ootds, the looks can sometimes be rather, um, aspirational for those of us who can't exactly afford to drop $900 on those Saint Laurent booties we see on our favorite Instagram trendsetters. The upside? With a little bit of shopping savviness, it's not hard to track down budget-friendly pieces that look just like the ones Instagram's style set is rocking. Below, we have five ideas to get you started!

1. Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What

A photo posted by by Danielle (@weworewhat) on

Danielle's The Kooples wrap skirt is basically the stuff dreams are made of, so luckily, we found a close match ($9.99, Zara). (On sale too, score!) A basic blue-grey tee is easy to find, but we love the worn-in look of this oversize pick ($11, H&M). To add studs like in Danielle's edgy look, we're totally feeling the rocker vibes on these studded ankle boots ($23.43, Glamorous). Let your statement-making shoes be the star of the show and keep your jewels to a minimal - this rhinestone bar necklace ($6.90, Forever 21) is perfect! Danielle's signature look is her Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses, but this lookalike budget pair ($39.97, Nordstrom Rack) is just as on fleek!

2. Aimee Song of Song of Style

A photo posted by Aimee Song (@songofstyle) on

Aimee's pretty patterned outfit is on point, but it can be re-created for SO much less! This black button-front skirt ($52, Topshop) is a total steal, and you'll wear it to death for the rest of the summer and into fall! We love Aimee's top, but we like the off-the-shoulder silhouette on this blouse ($24.99, H&M) even more! This studded faux leather crossbody ($22.90, Forever 21) is giving us the same free-spirited vibes as the blogger-favorite Chloe Drew bag, but for way less sticker shock. Match Aimee's pattern mixing with snake print flats ($51, ASOS) and top off the look with similar round sunnies ($12.95, Freyers).

3. Silvia Garcia of Bartabac Mode
Silvia Garcia's Instagram outfit for less
Silvia's denim-on-denim game is killing it here, and we kind of need her look ASAP. Copy her matching light wash denim with this denim jacket ($75, Topshop) and cuffed shorts ($52, Nordstrom). We dare you to try to spot the difference between this striped cami ($14, Boohoo) and Silvia's. Add bohemian gladiator sandals ($32.90, Windsor) and a tassle pendant ($38, Bauble Bar) and you're Silvia's style twin!

4. Lainy Hedaya of Haute Inhabit

Can we please talk about how Lainy is rocking the tough to master dress-over-pants trend? To get the look, pair this striped collared dress ($62, Pixie Market) and skinny jeans with cool-girl frayed hems ($49.90, Zara). Lainey's heels ($19.95, Daily Look) were a smart move - they keep your legs looking long under a lot of clothing! Add in Lainy's statement accessories, a studded box clutch ($49.90, Zara) and a huge cuff ($6, Charlotte Russe).

5. Blair Eadie of Atlantic-Pacific
Blair Eadie's Instagram outfit for less
This budget version of Blair's casual but girly outfit just became our go-to look for the rest of the summer. Layer a white eyelet romper ($12, H&M) underneath a contrasting utilitarian jacket ($46.80, Nordstrom). White ankle strap heels ($34, Lulu's) are the perfect summer shoe, and will make your legs look insanely long. Make like Blair and top the look off with tortoise sunnies ($13, Lulu's), the perfect piece to pull it all together.

One Direction Kicked Eliza Dushku Out of Her Hotel Room?

one direction eliza dushku hotel roomSounds like actress Eliza Dushku might not be the biggest One Direction fan, after the band had her kicked out of her hotel room recently.

Eliza took to Instagram on Friday to share how she was booted from her room, where she's been living for two months while shooting a project...just so that the 1D guys could have the floor.

She captioned the pic of all of her luggage and belongings packed up on a cart: "#DragMeDown Don't worry @OneDirection.. It was super chill movin outta my hotel room so u can have the ENTIRE FLOOR I've been staying on for 2 months. #OnLocationLife #HotelWars #ActorProblems #WhatHaveYouDoneForMeLately #OneDirection Took 2 hrs this Friday afternoon before work Enjoy #Pittsburgh #PA!"

No doubt Eliza was on the receiving end of plenty of One Direction fans' hate, but she later gave an update on Twitter to say it was "all good" and even used the opportunity to ask for a favor for being displaced.

Eliza tweeted: "Ha! I'm laughing, it's all good @onedirection. Assuming...: Tix or pix for my friends kid..?!!" The guys should totally make that happen.

Oh, and no hard feelings from Eliza toward the hotel or their staff either, as she clarified: Hey, we'd be feeling a little ranty too if we got kicked out of our hotel digs. Glad she had a sense of humor about the whole thing.

We've Been Wearing Our Earrings Wrong All Along

I think you should wear these earringsYou guys, this changes EVERYTHING!

There is nothing more annoying than buying an awesome pair of earrings and when you go to put them on, you discover they're those lame kinds with the plastic ring around the backing. What is the point of those stupid things, anyway? We always wondered, but never really thought beyond the initial , so we just put them on and rocked that plastic ring even though we hated it.

Turns out, the point of them is...absolutely nothing. In fact, you're supposed to take them off!

While we would totally like to take credit for this genius discovery, it was actually brought to our attention by Twitter user @Chelsea__Smithh: The tweet has already been RT over 40,000 times and was favorited almost as much because seriously...how stupid do we all feel? It's even worse if you're like us and have small lobes and you could full-on see the plastic part hanging down behind your ear. This is a game-changer in every sense of the word and Twitter is rightfully going nuts over it.
Brb, going to remove every. single. one of those stupid plastic backings!

No Time, No Whine: 3 Workout Apps for the Busy AF Girl

fitness sport training gym...Going to the gym can be such a production: There's time spent getting dressed and ready, heading to your gym or studio, and then up to an hour spent actually working out.

On especially busy days, it's just not feasible to dedicate practically two whole hours to exercising. But that doesn't mean you should slack off completely - there are tons of apps out there dedicated to fast, effective workouts right on your phone or tablet. Convenient and efficient, these apps are way better than a DVD or YouTube video, thanks to interactive features. We tested a few, so we could report on which ones we like best.

Yoga: FitStar Yoga

Right from the start, the clean layout had us convinced that we were going to like this app. And we were right! The 19-minute intro session (we chose intermediate) follows models that flow through the poses in a clear, uninterrupted way that introduces the names of each pose. There were chaturangas (the hallmark of vinyasa yoga), which increased heart rate and made us sweat. After a session, we felt limber and warmed up. Try the Freestyle sessions, including Standing Traveler for when you're waiting in line, or Morning Mix for a quick a.m. sesh.

Strength Training: 7-Minute Workout

This app is straightforward, simple and effective. First, watch the exercise tutorials. This part takes a few minutes, but you only need to watch them the first time you use it. Then hit the giant "start" button, and the app runs you through 10 exercises blending cardio and strength training, like jumping lunges, mountain climbers and squat jumps. There are 15 seconds to rest between each exercise, and you can adjust the rest period in settings. The only negative about this app is that there's no model doing the exercises along with you, so you need to rely on your own memory to know how to do each one. It's a great workout - try doing a few reps and you'll really feel the burn!

Running: C25K

Want to run a race but not sure how to train by yourself? This app by Zen Labs Fitness takes you through the motions, and if you can step outside and run for a half an hour, then this is a great tool to guide your training sessions and keep you feeling motivated. Over the course of eight weeks, the app alternates walking and jogging in increased intervals until you've worked your way up to jogging 2.75 miles on your own. I love that it times the intervals for you, like a personal trainer. Even as you near the race, the workout doesn't exceed 38 minutes including warm-up and cool-down.

Harry Styles Space Buns: Fans Campaign For Harry to Wear Buns, Braids

Harry Styles space buns braids Lou Teasdale picsOne Direction fans are on the campaign trail to get Harry Styles to wear "space buns" at an upcoming concert. With the flood of requests on Twitter to try and get Harry on board, came some amazing new photo manips of Harry with two darling little space buns atop his head in a variety of situations.

So, so cute.

And don't think that Harry hasn't noticed either - as he totally liked Miley Cyrus' Instagram post of him sporting the look. Remember when Harry dressed as Miley in 2013 and had his hair done up in the space buns? It's def a look we wouldn't mind seeing again...

While he didn't comment on any of the pics floating out there, we don't think Harry will be wearing the new 'do on stage.

One Direction's hair stylist, Lou Teasdale, took to Twitter and it sounds like she's not a fan - despite many trying to get her on board with the look: Things first kicked off with fans trying to get Lou to braid Harry's hair again - you remember that look? Then the fandom requested that Harry wear the magical double buns. And, of course, some fun with Photoshop...here are some our fave manips of Hazza with the buns: Of course, there are plenty of fans who aren't Team Space Buns, like this one:

7 Must-Have Pieces of Wisdom From #BossLady Joanna Coles

$

Joanna Coles at the 2013 Matrix AwardsBeing a #BUILTBYGIRLS intern sure does have its perks. Not only do we get to have the amazing opportunity to work on the legit Cambio website (don't worry, we won't break it!), but we get to visit companies (just like the #BBG Ventures Interns <3) and meet incredibly powerful people, like the editor-in-chief of both Seventeen and Cosmopolitan.

Yeah, we got to meet Joanna Coles.

As soon as she walked into the conference room, everyone immediately went silent out of respect. She just had a way of commanding the room, without even saying a word. When she started to speak, you just knew that everyone was listening and taking notes intently. I filled three pages in my notebook with her wisdom - yes, wisdom - and here are seven of the best pieces of advice she bestowed upon us. #yourewelcome

1. Introduce Yourself With Your Last Name

I'm pretty sure that she said this at least 23 times in the hour that she talked to us. She emphasized how men are more easily able to introduce themselves in a professional manner with their last name, whereas women are more inclined to just give their first name when meeting someone for the first time. In fact, Joanna once got a card from an intern who was leaving Cosmo that was only signed with her first name, so Joanna had no clue whom it was from.

You need to ensure that you make an impression with whomever you meet, and the best way to do that is to tell people your full name, so they remember that they talked to "Caitlin Stanton, a #BUILTBYGIRLS intern," instead of just "a girl named Caitlin."

Allow me to reintroduce myself

2. Meet the People Whom You're Working With

Even though your job is a job, that doesn't mean that you should isolate yourself from all of your working buddies. They want to help you in every way they can, whether it's pointing you to the correct conference room or getting you that interview at a bigger company. Set up 10-minute meetings with all of your new coworkers. Sit in on other meetings to get a feel for what everyone at the company does. Say hi to that person who stares awkwardly at you in the bathroom mirror. "Everyone has a story deep down," Joanna said. "And you should try to find it."
Did we just become best friends?!

3. Keep a Journal of All Contact Information

Once you've met everyone, it's ridiculously important to get their contact information. What happens if they leave the office and you want to ask them to return that sweater you leant them or if they know where that file is for that new project you were assigned? It's as simple as buying a cute journal to write down every email address and phone number you come across. It's the first step to building a network - all you need next is a LinkedIn. *wiggles eyebrows*
Now if I could just find your email...aaaaaand it's gone

4. Keep Yourself in People's Minds

Do you remember that best friend you had back in pre-school? That cool philosophical substitute teacher who would come to your class in fourth grade? The hamster you got when you were 9? No? Well that's because they didn't maintain contact with you! (Even hamsters need to keep people updated.)

Every time you start a new project, get a new position or just do something really cool, you should tell people about it. It's good to remind people that you aren't just sleeping in and watching Netflix all day (although you're probably doing that most of the time). Maybe someone will hear of a program or job position that they think fits you perfectly, all because you updated them about your accomplishments.
You look familiar

5. Balance Your Home and Work Life

The key to a happy life is a balance between your life at home - whether that's having a family, taking care of your pet turtle or spending hours on the couch - and your life at work. The best way to accomplish this is to figure out what you want (easier said than done, especially coming from a person who spends at least 20 minutes trying to figure out which flavor of ice cream she wants for a snack). Figure out what kind of person you are, what kind of life you want to lead and what kind of environment you want to exist in.

I'm sorry if I gave you all existential crises. Take this moment to spend some time curled up in the fetal position, questioning the very nature of the universe. Done? OK, good. Just try to understand what you want. Easy peasy pumpkin peasy.
Laughing baby trying to balance

6. Look to Learn

The best part about any new job is that you end up spending most of your days in an environment where EVERYTHING is new to you: the layout of the building, when they give out free bagels, how to call people on the office phones. Not only that, but you're surrounded by people with different work styles, thought processes and opinions. You have the opportunity to see everything in a different way, and help to do the same for your coworkers. Ask questions. Make mistakes. Look for problems and come up ideas. Try to take all that your job or program can give to you and give back all you can.
Look to learn

7. EMBRACE CHANGE

Last, but most definitely not least, BE FLEXIBLE. One of the best things Joanna said to us interns was

"You will never stop feeling uncomfortable - that's what makes life interesting and how you find out what you're made of."

My new life motto is another one of her phrases that should belong on a pillowcase: Default to yes. You're never going to become any better if you don't take a risk. Be open to opportunities that are presented to you, from going to PlayList Live entirely by yourself (it wasn't as bad as it sounds) to pursuing your dream career at another company. It's worse to look back and regret a choice you made, than to stumble in life through a bad decision. It's how we become "the new you - you 2.0, you 4.0."
Change is goodNow you are ready to tackle anything that comes at you. Take this bag of wisdom and run with it into the sunset! :D

Liam sported a hot dog suit for a bit, then took on the Very Hungry Caterpillar, and freakin' owned it. He seemed to enjoy the caterpillar look so much that he left the stadium dressed that way, hopping into a car in full costume.

Hot dog, Liam! Watch as Liam gets into the caterpillar costume with a little help from Louis Tomlinson. Why is Liam so adorable? He seems like he's up for anything these days...and we love it!

Eyebrow Extensions
With ladies like Cara Delevingne and Kim Kardashian getting major attention for their brows, and Internet slang like "eyebrows on fleek" gaining popularity, the focus on thick brows is bigger than ever. Girls are taking extreme measures to attain full and long brows. Thanks to beauty innovations, there is a relatively easy and safe way to get Brooke Shield-like brows with little to no effort.

The new beauty craze to go mainstream is eyebrow extensions. We have all heard of hair extensions, and some of us have even tried lash extensions, but faux hair for your eyebrows?! Who would have thought? When eyebrow pencils and powders don't work, you can add synthetic hair fibers to your brows using a glue that's safe for your skin.

We found some pretty inspiring examples of brow extensions on Instagram, and we must admit, this may be the best trend to keep your eyebrows on fleek all season long. Check out some of our fave brow transformations.

To the ladies with barely there brows, that's pretty much all the convincing you'll ever need.

The tropical vistas on the some of the packaging don't hurt, either. Demi also explained something we've always been curious about - how Wilmer is such good friends with Demi's ex-bf Joe Jonas (and her pal Nick Jonas, too). Turns out, it was pretty strange at first.

She explained, "Nick and Wilmer get along great - Joe and Wilmer too. It's weird. In the beginning, I was like, 'Why the f**k are you friends with Joe?' He was like, 'He's a cool guy.' Yeah, I know. I dated him."

Artist Reimagines Animated Disney Guys as Real Life Hotties

disney real life princesWe love when artists reimagine the Disney universe characters in new ways...and Jirka Vinse Jonatan Vaatainen, who brought the Disney princesses to life in a jaw dropping way, has now done the same with some of the Disney guys.

When a Disney prince, who you may have already slightly had a crush on back in the day, gets re-imagined in a real-life way by an artist, well...it's pretty overwhelming.

The artist explained to MTV: "I was inspired by the idea of recreating these characters that we all know and love, in a way I would imagine them to look like if they were 'more real,' while still staying somewhat true to the unrealistic quirks in their original character designs."

Check out these guys, who have been brought to life in the most amazing non-animated, flesh-and-blood kind of way. They are some smokin' hotties, for sure.

Kendall and Kylie Jenner were perfect angels this weekend, as they attended an angel-themed party in costume, along with a bunch of their other gal pals.

Selena Gomez was there, too, but she didn't pose for any pics with the Jenner sisters, which we were kinda hoping for because they used to be really close friends and kind of drifted apart last year.

Either way, all of the angels looked amazing!

Kim Kardashian's Highly-Anticipated Haircut Is Kinda Disappointing

Kim Kardashian pretty much never changes her hair, so when she does, it's kind of a big deal. The last time she did it, it actually WAS a big deal because the classic brunette went full-on blonde. She also said that she wants to try experimenting with other styles, so we were super excited when she announced she was ready to make another change.

"I'm cutting my hair tonight. Need to vibes," she tweeted on Friday. Like every other good fan, we were constantly checking Kim's social media feeds all weekend and while we did get some cute pics of North West playing soccer, we didn't see anything about this haircut, which just built the suspense even more.

Finally, on Monday, Kim shared the results of her haircut and...tada!

Just in case you're as confused as we were, the "Before" is on the left and the "After" is on the right. Notice the whole three, maybe even four centimeters difference. Talk about a letdown!

Of course, we knew she wasn't going to go all Kris Jenner on us, but when you tell us you're going to cut your hair and get us all excited, cut your damn hair, girl! Or save us the trouble and say you're just getting a trim...or don't even say anything at all so you don't mess with our heads. 'Cause seriously, we wouldn't have even noticed this "haircut" if she hadn't pointed it out.

Turns Out, Couples Around the World Fight About the Same Stuff You and Bae Do

As perfect as you and bae are, you know you have some little er, disagreements sometimes. It happens to all of us. But, what about couples around the world...do they fight about the same stuff we do? Yep, they sure do!

In this adorable BuzzFeed video, couples from Finland, China, India, Spain and other countries talk about what makes them tick and it sounds awfully familiar.

Not putting things away, how to treat each other's parents, forgetting to turn off the lights, getting the silent treatment. All the same stuff - even right down to the woman saying she'll be ready in "a minute" which guys should totally know is translated to "20 minutes" no matter what country you live in. Hey, we like to look our best!

While we totally enjoyed every second of this video, our favorite, by far, was when the couple from China almost got into a fight about WHAT they fight about. The woman (we love her candor!) revealed a little more than her man was comfortable with her telling the camera and things got tense for a minute there.

Did they miss any popular argument topics? We think they got most of the big ones. So just know that next time you and your man are fighting about something, there is some other couple, somewhere in the world fighting about the EXACT same thing.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale Split After 13 Years of Marriage

The PEOPLE Magazine Awards - Backstage And Audience
What is going on this summer?!

Another one of our favorite couples has reportedly called it quits, with Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale the latest to file for divorce. According to TMZ, the couple is ending their 13-year marriage and Gwen cited irreconcilable differences on the divorce filing.

"While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment," they said in a statement. "To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time." This is too much.

Gwen and Gavin are both asking for joint custody of their three children, 9-year-old Kingston, 6-year-old Zuma and 1-year-old Apollo. They reportedly had no prenup, so it looks like they'll be splitting their assets 50/50 under California law. The No Doubt singer is said to be worth $80 million and Gavin is worth an estimated $35 million.

The estranged couple has been fighting off split rumors for quite some time now, with Rossdale even slamming tabloid break-up reports last year, calling the stories "so mean spirited," adding that the stories were "the biggest load of bullsh*t." We really hoped it was, considering how much we loved these two together.

Jada also responded soon afterwards, shutting down the chatter as well. And there you have it. Although we've seen several shocking celebrity splits this year, Will and Jada aren't one of them (whew).

Justin Bieber at HARD Summer Music Festival 2015Justin Bieber sure does know how to get people talking about his new single. The Biebs has apparently snagged some of his most famous BFFs to help him promote his upcoming music, and his ex-boo Selena Gomez might be ticked off about the latest promo.

Justin's new song "What Do You Mean?" comes out in twenty-five days, and the latest celeb pal to promote it is Kylie Jenner. We know, we know....no big deal, those two are just friends. But we have a feeling it won't sit well with Selena.

Kylie's dating Tyga, right? Well, right...but that doesn't mean there isn't some "bad blood" between everyone. Remember a few months ago there was talk that Kylie and Bieber were messing around?

How about those Kendall Jenner and Biebs dating rumors while they were all in Paris a few years ago? Selena came home from that trip and deleted ALL the pics of her and the Jenner sisters on Instagram. D-R-A-M-A to the fullest.

We don't think ticking off his ex was on Bieber's agenda with his "What Do You Mean" post. Kylie isn't the only celeb to lend him a hand. Ruby Rose and Mariah Carey have also posted Instas holding a countdown for the song.

There's talk this new single (and video) might be about Justin's rocky relationship with Selena. His last tune "Where Are You Now?" even referenced her in the video.
