CLICKWORTHY: Jane By Design, Elle Fanning's Style and Katy Perry Annoys 1 Billion People?

Are you watching Jane By Design tonight? [JJJ]

Elle Fanning I love vintage. 60's and 70's are my favorite. I love baby doll dresses and the soft colors. I try to mix a little bit of modern into that - maybe I'll wear it with boots. At my school we wear a uniform, but we have one day a week we can wear whatever we want. [Seventeen]

Katy Perry's divorce is apparently not cool with the Hindu community (Katy and Russell got hitched in India in a traditional Hindu ceremony) and since there's 1 billion followers, that ain't good. [AOL Music]

Vote for your favorite Lady Gaga look of New Years Eve 2011. No, not the year 2011, just New Years Eve. She changed a lot. [Wetpaint]

Keep distracting me with that beauty, leaving me wanting more, reminding me of my duty, to lock these eyes to yours." [TeenInk]

The best quotes from The Hunger Games.. do you agree? "Okay, maybe I don't go around loving everybody I meet, maybe my smiles are hard to come by, but I do care for some people." - Katniss Everdeen [HuffPostHigh]

Street Style Hollywood: Alyssa, Lei, Taeylr And Monroe

We hit the streets of Hollywood to get fashion advice from ordinary girls with extraordinary style. Watch what happens when we ask four girls to define their look and tell us where they like to shop

First, we talked to Alyssa who described her street style as casual -- she just puts on whatever she can and goes. Her jacket features shoulder pads which Alyssa likes because it gives definition to her sleeves. She also sports some very creative nails and wears a bracelet as a memento of a close friend. Her style advice: be yourself.

Lei's priorities are comfortable, colorful and trendy. She gets inspired by magazines and blogs to mix expensive and affordable pieces, she even made her necklace herself. As a petite person, she stresses the importance of focusing on proportions. Lei's trick for elongating her lower body: skinny jeans.

Taelyr and Monroe are friends who both have serious style. They're are both girly, but Monroe models her look after the pin-ups of years past while Taelyr uses pieces from several different stores, but alters them to fit her. Monroe loves to make fashion her own, customizing her personality along with her style. Monroe's advice: always rock it.

Demi Lovato is Seventeen magazine's new cover girl, and in her feature story, the 19-year-old opens up about her past, her present and her friendships with Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez.

"I'm not gonna lie. I was self-medicating," the singer/actress tells the mag of the issues she faced in the past. "I was doing things like drinking and using [drugs], like a lot of teens do to numb their pain."

However, after undergoing treatment, Demi says she's turned over a new leaf. "I don't drink, I don't do drugs, I don't throw up after my meals, I don't starve myself," she adds. "There's nothing that I do that I feel ashamed of."

During her tough times, Demi says both Miley and Selena were there for her. Their friendships are very different, but despite any arguments they may have, they "will always be in each others' lives."

"[Miley Cyrus and I] are very strong-headed, so when we fight, it's brutal and we're like, 'We're never going to be friends again!' Then two days later, we're like, 'I love you and I miss you!'" Demi explains. "Selena [Gomez] and I, we never fight. She's not a confrontational person at all. Both of them will never leave my life no matter what happens, because we've been through so much together."

Demi appears on the February cover of Seventeen, which hits newsstands on Tuesday, January 10. For more quotes from the 'Skyscraper' singer's interview, visit Seventeen.com.

Lea Michele has been very vocal about banning horse-drawn carriages in New York City, and it looks like she's getting even more serious about the cause.

"New York, u know how much I love you. But if I see another horse & carriage struggling in this winter weather I may not be able 2 be here," the 'Glee' star wrote on Twitter.

Lea then followed up her tweet with message to the city's mayor, Michael Bloomberg, writing, "@MikeBloomberg please listen to the thousands of people who are saying that they no longer want horse & carriage rides in this city."

Finally, the 25-year-old pleaded with fans to send supportive messages to the mayor. "Please tweet to @MikeBloomberg if you agree that horse and carriages should no longer be on the busy streets of NYC. And let's end this."

Last year, Lea teamed up with PETA to star in an ad campaign calling for the boycott of the city's horse-drawn carriages. In the spot, she cited neglect and harsh conditions as reasons why the Central Park feature should be banned.

Selena Gomez is focusing on her acting career in 2012, which means she's pressing "pause" on her musical pursuits with her band, The Scene.

"We're going to take a break from music," Selena tells E! News. "I will be doing two films in the beginning of next year (2012), which I am excited about."

One of those films is 'Spring Breakers,' a movie about a group of girls who rob a restaurant in order to get enough money to go on a spring break trip. The upcoming flick also stars James Franco, Vanessa Hudgens, Heather Morris and Emma Roberts.

"It's a different character than I have ever played before," she told MTV. "It's a different kind of vibe I think than people are used to seeing me in. What you're going to see is more raw, I think. It's going to be raw and more about acting."

We're not totally surprised. In 2010 VEVO interview, Sel said that she eventually sees herself slowing things down and focusing on acting, which she calls her "passion."

Are you bummed about Selena's decision to take a break from music? Or would you rather see her in more movies? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Nick Jonas is ready to begin rehearsals for his role as J. Pierrepont Finch in 'How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying,' and now the 19-year-old is opening up about his love of the Big Apple.

"Favorite thing about New York? I think the fact that it's all here all on this island -- well in Manhattan, at least -- and it's just an amazing city," he tells MTV News. "The energy here is unlike anywhere in the world, and so many creative and talented people in this city and so many people that are passionate about theater and the arts and the things I'm really passionate about. Being around those people inspires me in so many ways. I think it's one of those places that you have to live in once in your life and I'm blessed to be here."

Nick is taking on the part, beginning on January 24, following in the footsteps of Daniel Radcliffe and 'Glee' star Darren Criss, who is currently cast in the role. Although the New Jersey native has spent a lot of time on the west coast recently, he's more than excited to set up shop in NYC.

"I think I'm really looking forward to setting up my world here," he adds. "I've had the opportunity, this last year spending more time in L.A. and being based there primarily, to kind of build a community of friends and have that whole atmosphere. And I hope to do the same here and hopefully have my friends come out and visit me here."

Good for JWoww. She recently revealed her New Years Resolution to live a cleaner lifestyle in 2012 to Cambio.

"About eight days prior to New Years, I decided to quit smoking and canned caffeine, because everyone knows that if anything comes from a can, most likely it ain't healthy," she said.

She further elaborated on her decision to us, "Even though I don't choose to be, I still am a role model. I want to give my fans that positive side... if I can do it, they can do it."

Season 5 of the show premieres tonight on MTV and promises to be just as drama-filled as any other season and maybe even more so because this time, the cast wasn't given a break between taping seasons.

The gang literally went from Italy straight to Seaside, meaning that there was no time for the cast to go back to their hometowns and spend enough time away from each other to forget how much they hate each other and agree to come back and live under one roof again. Should be fun.

Check out the video below to hear JWoww talk about her resolution. And for all things JS, check out Wetpaint's Jersey Shore page.

We asked Jake T. Austin about his favorite memories from Wizards of Waverly Place. (Boy, did he have a lot of them after 5 years!). Jake told us about his first audition for the show. He also revealed why he admires Selena Gomez and what David Henrie taught him on set!

When Jake started on the show, he was only 12 years old. Originally there was no 'Max' role, so Jake auditioned for David Henrie's part. Jake sent in a video tape of him reading a few scenes from the pilot and got the gig! Disney decided to add him as a little brother character on the show to mix things up.

On set the cast mixes things up with jokes and pranks (sometimes even sneaking into dressing rooms). Jake met Selena working on an independent film before either of them were cast in Wizards of Waverly Place. Even then Jake was struck by how well she carries herself.

Like Jake, David worked as a child actor. They first met on Wizards of Waverly Place and David was able to teach Jake a lot about comedy. Jake will miss the crew, the cast and also taping the live shows for fans.

Catch the final episode of Wizards of Waverly Place on January 6 and find out which sibling wins their wizard powers!

Horse and Carriage Association of New York City Invites Lea Michele to Tour Stables

Filed under:

Earlier this week, we reported that Lea Michele has been extra vocal lately about asking New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg to boycott horse-drawn carriages, even going as far as saying she might not return to the Big Apple if nothing changed. Now the Horse and Carriage Association of New York City has extended an open invitation to the 'Glee' star to tour their horse stables.

"Lea Michele has been actively campaigning for NY-CLASS (New Yorkers for Clean, Livable, and Safe Streets) against our horses, and what she's been led to believe about them -- and us -- simply isn't true," HCANYC Vice President Eva Hughes said in a press release. "Our horses lead exceedingly reasonable, regulated lives that bear no resemblance to the way they have been portrayed by NY-CLASS and PETA."

The association is welcoming Lea and a horse expert of her choice to come and see the conditions the horses live in. "If, after touring our stables and meeting our horses and their drivers, Lea Michele still wants to act as an anti-carriage-horse spokesperson for NY-CLASS, that's her right," Hughes added. "But we just want her to see for herself that our horses live in clean, comfortable stalls with ample bedding, constant access to water, and high-quality hay, in stables with state of the art cooling, ventilation and fire-protection systems. She's been terribly misled by NY-CLASS, and is unknowingly repeating their politically-motivated misinformation."

The press release also noted an interesting fact: Lea's latest film, 'New Year's Eve,' celebrates New York City, and features carriage horses at both the beginning and end of the movie. So far, Lea has yet to respond to HCANYC's invitation.
