Justin Bieber has been hard at work on his follow-up to 'My World 2.0,' and now the 17-year-old has unveiled a brand-new song called 'Be Alright.'

During the Canadian star's recent Home for the Holidays show, the singer debuted the cool, R&B love song in front of a sold-out crowd. He sings about doing anything for his girl, and assuring her that "everything's going to be alright."

Justin's forthcoming LP is called 'Believe,' and (fingers crossed) is expected to hit shelves next summer. According to the singer's manager, Scooter Braun, JB has been an active songwriter on the new disc, so Beliebers can expect to see a new side of the pop star.

"He's pretty adamant about writing a lot of [the album]," Scooter told Billboard. "And he played me some stuff that he's been doing on his own. He wrote this amazing song that sounds like a Jodeci record. I'm really excited for him."

Will 'Be Alright' make it on the final track listing of 'Believe'? We'll just have to wait and see. Listen to Justin's new song below and let us know what you think of it in the comments.

Celebs List Out Their New Years Resolutions

Joe Jonas, Cody Simpson, Mindless Behavior, Jake T. Austin, Lucas Gabreel, Hilary Swank, Lea Michele and Abigail Breslin are just some of the stars who told us about their New Year's resolutions for 2012. Their goals range from athletic to reflective to musical.

Cody Simpson and Jackie Seiden are feeling the need to spread some love next year. Jackie wishes for world peace and Cody wants to take on more charity work in 2012. Joe Jonas wants to make more music, especially with his brothers. (Dare we hope for a Jonas Brothers' reunion in 2012?)

Mindless Behavior, Jake T. Austin and Lucas Grabeel feel that positivity is the way to go in 2012. Mindless Behavior would like to start the year with positive energy and gain more fans. Jake T. Austin would like to stick to his goals and stay in the moment (as would Lucas Grabeel). Hilary Swank would like to slow things down, which is going to be hard work for a mega-movie star like her. Hopefully she will find time for a well-deserved break!

Christa B. Allen would just like to stop procrastinating, and Jacob Latimore wants to work harder and do better in math. Glee's Lea Michele would love to do another movie (directors, take note!), and Drew Seeley is going to try to cut back on the candy and bulk up for any potential Iron Man 8 roles! Abigail Breslin has been trying to stop biting her nails, but thinks it more likely that she will keep her resolution to learn guitar bar chords. Abigail maybe should take a page out of Christine Lakin and Russell Peter's book: they are making resolutions to not make resolutions. Happy New Year everyone!

Heather Morris Lands Role in Selena Gomez Flick 'Spring Breakers'

Filed under:

Heather Morris is ready to hit the big screen once again, this time alongside Selena Gomez in the forthcoming film 'Spring Breakers,' which also stars James Franco, Vanessa Hudgens and Emma Roberts.

The Harmony Korine-directed flick follows a group of college girls who rob a restaurant to have enough money to go on their spring break trip. They eventually end up in jail, but get tangled up with a drug and arms dealer after he bails them out.

While Heather is listed prominently on the IMDb page for 'Spring Breakers,' not much is known about her role. However, we have a hunch she's going to have a decent amount of screen time given her success on 'Glee.'

This isn't the 24-year-old's first movie. She starred in the indie flick 'Post,' and is set to voice the character Katie in the upcoming animated film 'Ice Age: Continental Drift.' You go, Heather!

Katy Perry and Russell Brand are ending their marriage. Frowny face. :(

Russell filed for divorce Friday after a few days of rumors after the pair spent the holidays separately and were photographed without their wedding bands on.

Looks like Kim Kardashian's divorce won't be the biggest celebrity breakup of 2011 after all, sorry Kim.

"Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage," Russell, 36, said in a statement to People magazine. "I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends." Meanwhile, the 27-year-old singer hasn't tweeted in a few days and is keeping things private for now.

The seemingly perfect-for-one-another pair started dating in 2009 and were married in a lavish ceremony in India in October 2010. Thoughts? Comments? More frowny faces?

"Under the Mistletoe" has been the soundtrack of the season. Beating out the Biebs, fellow Canadian Michael Bublé released his holiday album before October was even over. The album is still in the Top 10 most popular on iTunes. Featuring a duet of "White Christmas" with Shania Twain, the album is the perfect way to set a cozy mood when the weather outside is frightful. Click here to check it out.

She & Him - A Very She & Him Christmas

If you enjoy Zooey Deschanel's caroling in the newer Christmas classic "Elf," you'll love this likable holiday album that she and M. Ward put together, featuring a full rendition of "Baby It's Cold Outside." Click here to check it out.

Read what one of our editors thought of Zooey's holiday album here.

EPs for Good Causes

The Summer Set - "What Money Can't Buy" EP, Proceeds to Toys for Tots

The Summer Set is donating all proceeds of "What Money Can't Buy," a collection of three original Christmas songs, to the Toys for Tots Foundation. According to the band, "All too often people get caught up in materialistic things as every billboard and TV commercial are telling you what you "need," when the truth is, you don't actually need any of it. It's not important. The people you love are what really matter." Pick up the EP here, enjoy the new music and feel good about donating to a great cause.

The Killers - (RED) Christmas EP

All proceeds from the sale of individual tracks and the EP are donated to the Global fund, the recipient of (RED), to help fight AIDS. Since 2006, The Killers have released an annual Christmas single to benefit (RED). This EP includes all five previous tracks, plus a this year's song, "The Cowboy's Christmas Ball." Click here to check it out.

Holiday Singles

Mindless Behavior - Christmas With My Girl

One of 2011's most popular young rap and R&B groups released this original Christmas song, "Christmas With My Girl." Cambio was behind the scenes of the snow fight filled music video. Buy the video here.

Allstar Weekend - Christmas Kisses

Allstar Weekend doesn't need to skirt around the subject with images of mistletoe (even though they do mention growing their own) and calling girls "shawty." They want to kiss you this Christmas, baby. Put on your snowflake sweater, pop in a little Christmas movie and pucker up!

Forever the Sickest Kids - Mistletoe is for Quitters

Long distance relationships can be tough, especially around the holidays. Feel as though you can relate and enjoy the pop rock catchy melodies typical of FTSK? This song is for you. "I'll be home for Christmas, You can count on me, I'll be home for Christmas, If only in my dreams, it's you and me." Click here to check it out.

Sara Bareilles - Love Is Christmas

Sara Bareilles, who just finished up judging the latest season of The Sing-Off, released this heartfelt holiday ballad. "Love is not a toy, and no paper will conceal it. Love is simply joy that I'm home." Click here to check it out.

Action Item - Winter Rolls Around

The Jersey boys in Action Item released their first original holiday song this year, "Winter Rolls Around." They also filmed a music video for the single at Berk's Christmas Tree lot in Pennsylvania. Karmin's New Years Resolution: Get A Puppy!

Well... if they have time for one, that is.

We caught up with Karmin earlier this month and asked them what was on their holiday wish list this year and a puppy was on the top of Amy's list. Looks like she didn't get one judging from this photo the duo tweeted from Viceroy in Anguilla two days ago, unless it was a very small puppy they could smuggle on the plane. Side note: we are also extremely jealous of their holiday vacation.

"We just don't have time for a dog," she continued, which we believe given the breakout year they just had gaining massive YouTube popularity, a record deal and releasing their first original single and video in 2011. In fact, we predicted recently that they will have an even better 2012.

We're pretty sure Karmin's list of New Years resolutions includes, among other things, finding time to get a dog. And perhaps win a Grammy is on there too.

Watch the clip below and tell us what you think Karmin should name their dog in the comments. We're think Coda would be the perfect name musical name (look it up!) to go along with Karmin -- Carmen means "song" in Latin.

Better make it "Koda" then!

We caught up with Zendaya, star of Shake It Up, at her beauty shoot for Seventeen Magazine. She gave us her best makeup tips and talked about easy fixes for bad hair days. She also gave us advice for those aspiring models out there!

Zendaya was having anything but a bad hair day at this beauty shoot. She tried several gorgeous hairstyles, but her favorite was one with a sleek top and a fuller bottom layer.

As for makeup Zendaya loves to shake it up with new colors and styles. Her favorite color at the shoot was a deep berry shade of eyeshadow. She looks forward to finding that shade for her own personal collection! Zendaya also wants to experiment with different lipstick shades this year: hot pink, coral, orange, whatever! A simple eye with the right lipstick just pops!

Zendaya can't live without lip balm to keep her lips soft. Her other must-have is a ponytail and bobby pins to fix a bad hair day. A wrap will also do, so long as it can cover the craziness! The must-have makeup tip she learned from her makeup artists is to wet sponges before applying makeup. This gives skin a dewy look.

For those aspiring models, Zendaya recommends that people just go for it. Surround yourself with positive people who will support your endeavors and your goals will be a lot easier to reach.

Kyoto Tachibana High School Rocks Lady Gaga In 2012 Rose Parade

We were at the Rose Parade in Pasadena, California on Monday where high school and college marching bands like the one from LAUSD All District High School (pictured above) tackled traditional songs as well as pop covers from Cee Lo Green, Taio Cruz and Lady Gaga.

The University of Oregon's marching band (who won the game later in the day) played Taio Cruz' Dynamite. But Kyoto Tachibana High School, who came all the way from Ktoto-Shi, Kyoto-Fu, Japan, stole the show when they marched towards the center grandstand playing Lady Gaga's Bad Romance. They even paused to do monster claws!

It was a comeback of sorts for the band as well, in addition to their country experiencing the 2011 tsunami, their actual school caught fire this year as well, damaging some of the band's uniforms.

The band participated in the day's Bandfest -- check out Kyoto Tachibana's performance below. Go to the 5:15 mark to see them take on Bad Romance. We sure hope Gaga herself sees it!

Katy Perry's demo of Jessie James' song 'Bullet' has leaked online, showing off the recently single star's country side. The tune was co-written by the 'Teenage Dream' singer for Jessie's 2009 self-titled debut.

Katy recorded the vocals for the demo, mixing her pop sensibilities with a little bit of country twang. She sings in the chorus: "I'm a bullet and I'm headed straight for your heart / Be careful what you start / I'm a bullet and I'm headed straight for your heart / It's gonna leave a mark."

Katy is a mega pop star in her own right, but she's also an accomplished songwriter. Not only has she penned this tune for Jessie James, but she's also written songs for Selena Gomez, Kelly Clarkson and Ashley Tisdale.

Just a few days into the new year and Willow Smith has posted a new video for her fans to check out. This time, the 11-year-old has chosen to cover Kid Cudi's 'All Along.'

The clip is just under one minute, giving the 'Fireball' singer enough time to tackle the chorus of the 'Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager' track, which is what she set out to do. Willow is also shown playing the piano in what we assume is her home.

In an interview with Idolator, Willow said that Kid Cudi's 2010 LP was one of her favorites to listen to in 2011. "I like it because it's different, and it has a lot of feeling," she said. "He's not just writing songs to write songs. He's writing songs that are about his life."

Check out Willow's cover below, and get ready for her debut album -- which we hear features a guest spot by Kid Cudi himself -- to arrive on April 3.
