After yet another disturbing Twitter rant and some increasingly strange behavior, Amanda Bynes was hospitalized on Friday night on a 5150 psychiatric hold, according to TMZ.

Given how upset she seemed at her parents, namely her father, it seemed impossible that she would ever even agree to see them again - and that's where Britney Spears' ex manager comes in.

Sam Lufti, who Britney's parents had accused of some negative things during his friendship with the pop star, actually swooped in and helped save Amanda.

TMZ reports that Sam contacted Amanda on Thursday and convinced her to sue her parents and that's how he got her to take a flight from NYC to Los Angeles, where her parents reside.


The troubled actress reportedly believed that she was going to make two stops, one at the lawyer's office and one at the London Hotel. Upon arriving at the London, she believed she'd be meeting with her parents to tell them about the lawsuit, except that she never arrived at the hotel because the driver took her straight to a Pasadena hospital that looked like an office building.

The site reports that Amanda's parents are extremely grateful to Sam and will be thanking him publicly.

Whatever Sam said to Amanda must have been pretty convincing, because she actually tweeted this just hours before she arrived in Los Angeles.


We wish Amanda and her family all of the best during this extremely difficult time.

Meet the younger person to ever receive the Nobel Peace Price.

Pakistanian Malala Yousafzai, 17, was honored with the award Friday, along with India's Kailash Satyarthi, for their work against the suppression of children and for young people's rights, according to CNN.

Malala, specifically, was recognized because of her efforts to promote education for girls in Pakistan. She has risked her life for the cause, with the Taliban shooting her in the head nearly two years ago because of it. Luckily, she survived, and continued to fight for her beliefs, taking her campaign to a global level.

"I'm proud that I'm the first Pakistani and the first young woman or the first young person getting this award," she said.

Malala added that she felt like this was just the beginning of her campaign to advocate for girls' education, saying that children everywhere should "stand up for their rights" and "not wait for someone else."

Now that they have received their awards, Malala and 60-year-old Kailash plan to work together to fight for every child's right to be able to go to school, and to build a stronger relationship between their native India and Pakistan, which have been rivals for a long time.

According to Mosharraf Zaidi, a Pakistani education campaigner, 25 million children ages 5 to 16 in Pakistan are not in school. More than half of those kids are girls. "So there's a huge need for a campaigner and a voice like Malala's," he told CNN. "Unfortunately, that voice hasn't been welcome in Pakistan in the way that we would've hoped and the work that needs to be done to fulfill the dreams that Malala has, has not yet begun."

Meanwhile, Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif congratulated Malala as well, saying in a statement, "She is (the) pride of Pakistan, she has made her countrymen proud. Her achievement is unparalleled and unequaled. Girls and boys of the world should take lead from her struggle and commitment."

Malala co-founded an organization called the Malala Fund, which inspires girls to take action in their communities, advocates for girls' education and invests in community-centered solutions that provide quality education.

There needs to be more people in the world like Taylor Swift. The singer reportedly pulled a Miley Cyrus, and donated big bucks to a homeless fan in need.

A fan named Brandon started a GoFundMe page to raise money for himself so he wouldn't be homeless, and shortly afterwards, he received an anonymous donation from someone with the initials T.S. Could it be?

Probably. Brandon actually met Tay a few days ago at one of her 1989 sessions. It hasn't been confirmed if she was the one who gave up the $2,000 donation, but his tweet kind of says it all.

Iggy Azalea has had a rough couple of weeks, to say the least. First, rumors surfaced that her ex was shopping around a sex tape that they'd shot years ago and then last week he filed for divorce. That one was extra awkward because Iggy didn't even know they were married (now that would have been the perfect situation for the "it's complicated" relationship status).

Needless to say, she kind of just wants to be left alone right now and we don't really blame her. Of course, the paparazzi doesn't care what Iggy wants and the rapper got pretty pissed when this particular pap just wouldn't quit.

As she was coming out of a grocery store, Iggy and her friend noticed the pap was still following them and they both started screaming at him. Needless to say, things escalated pretty quickly.

Shortly after the incident, the "Black Widow" singer took to her Instagram to defend herself and she explained that the two-minute clip we saw was from when things finally reached the boiling point. Read the caption under the photo for Iggy's side of the story.

Girls' night out!

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were spotted stepping out in New York City Tuesday night, heading out of a Manhattan hotel in casual garb. The 20-year-old blonde starlet was all smiles as she talked animatedly on her cell, rocking a black dress, ankle boots, a red plaid scarf and a tan trench coat.

Her BFF K. Stew walked ahead of her, sporting an androgynous look in a 'Mercenaries'-emblazoned baseball cap, paired with an oversized blazer and gray trousers.

The duo developed a friendship after acting together in Twilight and the Runaways, and seemed to be enjoying their time off together in the Big Apple.

Dakota is in the midst of promoting her new film Effie Gray, which just premiered in London. In it, she plays 19-year-old Effie Gray, who marries John Ruskin - an art critic 10 years older than her. The film is slated to hit U.S. theaters in November.

Meanwhile, Kristen has been in NYC promoting several movies, including appearances at the New York Film Festival for her new films Clouds of Sils Maria and Camp X-Ray.

What the...

The day before Amanda Bynes was checked into a rehab facility, a video surfaced of the actress acting erratic inside of a Manhattan boutique in New York City.

In the video obtained by TMZ and New York Daily News, the Easy A thesp walks quickly into Pookie & Sebastian, picks up a white blouse she wants to try on and then proceeds to strip down to her bra in the middle of the store instead of heading into a dressing room.

Then, she throws on the sweater - making sure to keep her oversized sunglasses on - and starts posing in front of a mirror, strumming an air guitar and dancing all around the store while she's at it.

And that was just the beginning. Amanda motions for her bodyguard to come into the store, puts her arms around his neck, twerks on him and gropes his chest and back.

"It was beyond bizarre," Pookie & Sebastian owner Kevin Matuszak told the New York Daily News. "We couldn't believe it."

At one point during the video, a sales associate asks Amanda if she's going to pay for the blouse she's been dancing around the store in. "Do I really have to buy this?" she replied, before handing over her credit card.

Alas, Amanda wasn't done in the store just yet. She started breaking out into another dance, flinging her arms in the air, and reportedly insulted a customer, a store employee told the site.

While she was dancing in front of the mirror, a middle-aged shopper supposedly asked a store clerk if a shirt she was trying on made her look "too old." Amanda jumped in on the convo, saying, "Yeah, you look old. I'm old, too. That's why I'm getting a lot of plastic surgery done."

After about 10 minutes, Amanda walks out of the store with the white blouse, but leaves her jacket and scarf there.

The footage of Amanda in the store was captured on the same day she supposedly shoplifted at Barneys, putting a $200 hat on her head and walking out of the store.

Needless to say, Amanda has had quite the couple of weeks leading up to rehab. Aside from her alleged shoplifting incident, she was busted for DUI in Los Angeles Sept. 28, then she was kicked out of fashion school because of the arrest, and was spotted acting erratically in NYC and LA the next week.

Next, the 28-year-old embattled starlet gave a bizarre interview to InTouch Weekly, telling the mag she is engaged to a 19-year-old guy named Caleb. She went on to flash the ring around NYC.

Then, right before she was checked into a treatment facility, Amanda went on a troubling Twitter rant, accusing her dad of sexual, physical and verbal abuse.

She has since been placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold for 72 hours, which is expected to be extended.

Oh, Adele, you really know how to break our hearts!

Back in May, you got us all excited with a Tweet that teased you'd release your third album this year.

Well it's now October and we've been patiently waiting, but it looks like we'll have to keep waiting until 2015.

According to a financial report filed by her label XL Recordings, there's no album planned for Adele this year.

This line from the report pretty much says it all: "There will be not be a further new release by Adele during 2014 and consequently there will be a fall in XL's turnover and profits."

Forget the money and bottom line, what about new music?

The New York Times even verified that the financial report is legit, so guess just find someone else like Adele to listen to the rest of the year.

Should the world prepare for some little Taylor Swift babies? Eh, don't hold your breath. The superstar recently talked to InStyle magazine about having kids, and she wasn't all glitter and rainbows about it.

Not only did Tay look smoking hot in the mag's pictures, but she also opened up about getting married and having children one day.

"I don't know if I'll have kids," she told them. "It's impossible not to picture certain scenarios and how you would try to convince them that they have a normal life when, inevitably, there will be strange men pointing giant cameras at them from the time they are babies."

Don't expect her to tie the knot anytime soon, either. Sorry to give you the bad news, Harry Styles.

"I'm too young to get married. Not agewise, but I know myself, so why try to meet someone right now when I know I'm too young to do something serious?"

Well, at least we don't have to worry about her having a Kevin Federline moment. Plus, her songs give us enough drama than any marriage or baby probably could. Her tune "Out of the Woods" is set to premiere this week. That one is reportedly about Harry.

Nick Jonas doesn't want you to grab his ass. Sorry, ladies.

In a new interview with Special Ed at the Virgin Radio Red Room, Nick talked about his journey, from his first solo effort at age 11, through the Jonas Brothers and, as he says, a chance to "start over...be a new artist again."

Nick also dished on the last time his personal space was invaded, as he explained, "it happens all the time...someone grabbed my ass last night....That was kind of strange. I think sometimes the physical barrier is broken by this [by him being a public figure]... I love my fans and they're amazing, but there are moments where people get a little over-ambitious. They don't understand there are lines of personal space."

He called the ass grab "an alarming moment" but said, "getting your ass grabbed is a compliment in any other setting...it was highly uncomfortable at that moment."

Sounds like we need to have a talk about boundaries again...

Blake Lively definitely has that mom-to-be glow.

After announcing her pregnancy on her Preserve website last week, the former Gossip Girl star showed off more snaps of her growing baby bump on the site in photos from her recent pregnancy celebration.

"With a new baby on the way there is so much to do!" Lively wrote on the blog post "Bringing Up Baby" Friday. "But before experiencing the joy of 3am screams, seemingly impossible amounts of poop and having a favorite shirt covered in reflux ... there are presents to open, onesies to dye, there is cake to serve, advice to be shared and all around celebration to be had. And that we did."

In the shots, Blake can be seen smiling as she hangs out with other moms-to-be at a festive outdoor fall bash, toting a three-tiered cake in one shot as she warms up in a furry plaid jacket.

Another snap revealed several moms-to-be sitting around a table topped with apples, squash bowls filled with soup and other treats. And in another shot, Blake smiles for the camera as she strikes a pose cradling her burgeoning belly.

This is the first child for Blake and her hubby Ryan Reynolds, with the 27-year-old actress announcing the news via a blog post, writing, "With family on our mind, we looked to the origin of it all-to the women in our lives who are right there, at that special moment; at the creation of family." In the post, she showed off a shot of her baby bump for the first time.

The 5 Seconds of Summer guys are helping each other out in the dating game - not that they should need any help.

In a recent interview with The Bert Show, the guys talked about the finer points of vegemite, the guidance they've gotten from One Direction and some of the dream A-list celebs they'd like to date.

As for creating online dating profiles for each other, they describe Luke as "7 feet, 5 inches tall," with "erect" hair, "75% legs, ready for anything," and he loves green beans. Calum, on the other hand, "thinks [he's] a gangster but [he's] not," is "very hairless," but has "talented eyebrows."

Luke described Ashton as having "a glorious tan 90 percent of the time," "always wears a head band," "likes broccoli with cheese on it" and is deemed the best "boyfriend material."

Michael was tricky, but the guys landed on: "has an awesome laptop," is a "chameleon" with his change in hair color based on his surroundings. Oh, and he "rarely sneezes."

The Duck Dynasty family better add another chair to their dinner table. Willie and Korie Robertson's 19-year-old son John Luke Robertson is engaged!

According to Us Weekly and an adorable pic on Instagram, the duck family's oldest child John Luke asked his longtime girlfriend Mary Kate McEacharn to marry him on his 19th birthday over the weekend.

"I am so excited to marry my best friend," John Luke told Us."I know my parents married young as well, and they have always been examples of what 'could be' to me. Fast-forward 22 years and they are more in love than ever, and I hope Mary Kate and I are the same way in the years to come. God has truly blessed us."

Since the reality star popped the big question at his party, several sweet Instagram photos have appeared online. The bride to be posted one on her account showing off her new bling. His adopted sister also posted a pic with them captioning it, "She said YES @missmarymcmcmc so excited to be your sister."

So sweet, right? They may want to start prepping their wedding guests for Uncle Si and his tea cup like now, though. We all know how silly he gets.

Congratulations to the adorable couple...or should we say good luck? The Hollywood marriage odds are against them, that's for sure. Do you think they're too young to get married?

Big news for One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer fans - both have been nominated for 2014 American Music Awards! 1D and 5SOS fans are going crazy this morning after the announcement was made on Good Morning America.

One Direction were nominated for three awards, while John Legend, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams earned five nominations each, Lorde received four nominations, and Iggy Azalea leads the pack with six noms.

One Direction lands in the the Artist of the Year category along with Iggy, Beyoncé, Luke Bryan, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, John Legend, Lorde, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams.

5SOS were nominated for the New Artist of the Year Presented by Kohl's category, along with Iggy, Bastille, Sam Smith and Meghan Trainor.

One Direction were also nominate for Favorite Band, Duo or Group and Favorite Album, Midnight Memories. Vote to keep 1D in the running for Artist of the Year, as the ten nominees will be narrowed to five after votes received through 11/13 determine the finalists.

One of the biggest drawbacks of the celebrity life is the lack of privacy. Case in point: over the weekend, Harry Styles was photographed throwing up on the side of the road. Seriously? How did paparazzi even capture those pics? Oh, right. They're always following his every move.

While the details of the reason for Harry's roadside pukefest are unknown, one thing is clear. Fans were not happy about this moment being captured on film. Who can blame them for caring? Nobody wants a pukey moment broadcast all over the internet.

To make it worse, another pic showing Harry clearly disgusted with the paps is also making the rounds and we totally feel for him. Boundaries, folks.

We thought Amanda Bynes' sudden announcement that she was engaged to a 19-year-old named Caleb living in California seemed strange, and turns out, it wasn't true.

The troubled 28-year-old, who is back in treatment on a mandatory 5150 psychiatric hold, claimed that she was engaged and would be on the cover of People magazine with her future husband.

But TMZ tracked down a source close to her supposed future fiancee who says not only are they not engaged, but they've never even dated.

Apparently, Caleb Pusey and Amanda met in rehab and became friends, but it was never romantic. In fact, he reportedly hasn't spoken to the former actress in months.

The reason it caught us by surprise is because Paris and Khloe's sister Kim Kardashian used to be really good friends and then things sort of fell apart after Paris threw some shade at Kim during a radio interview in 2008, saying her butt looked like "cottage cheese inside a big trash bag."

Ever since then, things were a little...awkward. Also, a lot of people pinned the two former friends against each other because when Paris first stepped out with Kim, nobody knew who Kim was and now Kim is crazy famous.

Anyway, Kim and Paris seemed to bury the axe in Ibiza back in August when the former frenemies posted this pic of themselves where everything seemed to be just peachy.


If Kim is cool with Paris, we guess there is no reason for Khlo not to be.

Well, this is pretty much the cutest fitness video we've ever seen in our lives.

Teen Mom 2 star Chelsea Houska shared this Instagram vid of her daughter Aubree doing some sort of handstand-type situation. Actually, we don't know exactly what it was, but it was adorable.

"Aubree was showing me her exercises. She's obviously very passionate about it haha #cutebabe," Chels captioned the video.

"Do you like that?" Chelsea asked Aubree about her little exercise. "Yeah, and it keeps your body moving," she responded. Looks like someone is getting a good physical fitness education in school!

Another thing that's keeping Aubree's body moving is t-ball. Chelsea shared some adorable snaps of her daughter on the field and during the final few episodes of this past Teen Mom 2 season, we got to see Aubree in action.

Unfortunately, Aubree's dad Adam didn't get to see her in action when he slept through one of her games, but that's a different story.

Our Monday just got a little better. Taylor Swift kicked it off with a preview of her new song "Out of the Woods" that's rumored to be about One Direction's Harry Styles.

It all went down on Good Morning America. Taylor played the song and revealed that it's one of her favorites on her new album 1989.

"I wanted to make sure that these songs sounded exactly the way that the emotions felt when I felt them. This song is about the fragility and kind of breakable nature of some relationships. This was a relationship where I was kind of living day to day, wondering where it was going, if it was going to go anywhere, if it was going to end the next day. It was a relationship where you kind of never feel like you're standing on solid ground," she said.

"That kind of a feeling brings on excitement but also extreme anxiety and kind of frantic feeling of wondering, endless questions. And this song sounds exactly like that frantic feeling of anxiety and questioning, but it stresses that even if a relationship is breakable and fragile and full of anxiety, it doesn't mean that it isn't worthwhile, exciting, beautiful and all the things that we look for."

Of course, Taylor didn't reveal WHO the song is about. There's tons of speculation, though. She sings about a snowmobile accident in it, and many fans are sure that situation went down with Harry.

We never would have pegged Niall Horan as the bad boy of One Direction, but maybe this past infraction from back when he was in school could give him some bad boy cred. Yeah, he's still sweet Nialler, but this bit of his history is definitely interesting.

In the new 1D book, Who We Are, Niall talks about some of the times he was a not so angelic, saying, "I maybe stole something when I was at school, like stuff off a friend." Well, that's not exactly shoplifting or anything.

He also confessed, "I was not a bad boy but I got suspended for two days for general messing about.

His crime? Talking, as he explained, "I talked too much which probably got me in trouble."

Yeah, we can totally see that!
