The biggest names in music, television, movies and sports will walk the orange carpet tonight at the 27th Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards and in case you can't tune in at home, we got your back.

This year's show will be hosted by actor Mark Wahlberg. Some of the presenters include Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Lea Michele, John Cena, Tia Mowry, Ross Lynch, Will Arnett, Michael Strahan, Kristen Bell, Debby Ryan, and Andy Samberg. Austin Mahone, Aloe Blacc and Indie rock band American Authors are the musical performers at the event.

The biggest names in movies, music and sports are at the 2014 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards tonight in Los Angeles, and we're here to tell you about everyone who won big and got slimed on too. In case you can't tune in to the big show yourself or just want a recap of the night's big winners, we have a running list of everyone who's taking home an award below.

The show is always a good time, with categories like Favorite Female Buttkicker, Favorite Video Game, Favorite Animated Animal Sidekick and Most Enthusiastic Athlete. It's also pretty much fair game for EVERYONE to act like a kid...and go home messy too.

Having to choose between Austin Mahone and Cody Simpson is a terrible decision for any girl to have to make...for any reason. There is absolutely no "right answer" to any question that asks you to pick between the two of them. Who's hotter? Don't know. Who is the better singer? Can't decide. Who should get slimed?! ...Wait, what?

For those of us watching the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards tonight, we were forced to make that very difficult decision. They were teasing us all night about who would get slimed and fans watching the live stream got to vote for their choice online. Judging by the audience's scream scale early on, it sounded like Austin was going to get a face full of the green stuff.

We're still not sure if those were Cody fans or Austin fans...because if you're an Austin fan, you might not want to see him get slimed...then again, for those who saw the bigger picture, they probably realized how cute he would look when he did and maybe they did vote for him. Tough call.

Anyway, regardless of whose side we were on, a lot of us probably jumped the gun and picked one or the other before we realized there was a "both" option. Fortunately, Nickelodeon gave us a second chance and we obvi jumped on the "both" bandwagon, which, apparently, everyone else did as well.

At the end of the show, it was time announce the slime "victim" and when they said "the winner, by a landslide is..." we were totally thinking everyone had picked one or the other. We were so relieved to hear when they said "both" ...and here is the aftermath. Who knew a bunch of green gunk could look so dang hot?!

Congratulations to One Direction, who took home the 2014 Kids' Choice Award for Favorite Music Group and Favorite Song ("Story of My Life").

Unfortunately, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik couldn't attend the KCAs, but they sent along a video acceptance speech for their awards.

1D are currently rehearsing for their huge upcoming tour and weren't available to be at the Kids' Choice Awards (sad face), but their video clip was short and sweet. They apologized for not being at the event, but thanked fans for voting.

Um...how amazing do they look? Too bad they couldn't be there in person....

The 2014 Kids' Choice Awards is all about the slime...and the awards, too. But mostly the slime. Host Mark Wahlberg claimed he was unslime-able, but we knew that couldn't possibly be true.

Yet Mark dodged the slime time and again throughout the KCAs--and with so many near-misses, we didn't think he'd ever get covered by the green goop.

The beauty of the KCAs though is that no one is immune to slime--not even Mark! As the show drew closer to the end and Mark continued to brag about his lack of slime, he had another close call when his Transformers co-stars fired off a few shots from a slime cannon. He made it out though, slime-free.

But we knew he couldn't make it the whole show without at least a sprinkle o' the green stuff. And He. Got. Soaked. And his kids (and Kevin Hart) were in on the joke.

Guess he shouldn't have bragged so much, huh?

The 2014 Kids' Choice Awards definitely weren't short on fun...but there was something (or should we say someone) missing. Why wasn't Jennette McCurdy, star of Sam & Cat and iCarly, at the KCAs?

Seems her absence got people talking and many wondered if her recent sexy selfie scandal had anything to do with it. With Sam & Cat winning a KCA for Favorite TV Show and show creator Dan Schneider getting a Lifetime Achievement honor, shouldn't Jennette have been there?

Jennette explained all on Twitter, writing:

"A lot of you guys are asking why I didn't attend the KCAs.... I wish I could explain everything as thoroughly as I would like to, but unfortunately a simpler explanation is all I can write. I was put in an uncomfortable, compromising, unfair situation (many of you have guessed what it is) and I had to look out for me. I chose to not go because sticking up for what is right and what is fair is what my mom taught me is ALWAYS the most important thing. I want to thank those of you who have reached out with kind words of support, McCurdians and Arianators alike. No matter who or what you support, I believe in supporting fairness first. If you have done that, thank you."

Earlier this week, she tweeted: "Stand up for what you believe in. Stand up for who you are. Don't let small people make you believe you're small."

We missed you, Jennette, but totally understand.

Update: Did Jennette unfollow Ariana Grande on Twitter? There's plenty of buzz about it, but does it have anything to do with Jennette skipping the KCAs?

Update 2: Jennette took to Twitter to clarify why she wasn't at the KCAs, explaining: "My previous tweet has nothing to do with pics leaked.oh you guys lol It has to do with how nickelodeon treated me. That's all. Thanks for the love. <3"

Wow. That sounds like something crappy went down. Sorry Jennette!

Selena Gomez is following in her man's footsteps and just purchased a swaggy new home. The singer's new pad isn't in Canada or Hotlanta near Justin Bieber or anything, but actually in Calabasas, California, probably the most anti-Bieber city in the world.

The Biebs' gal reportedly bought a 5-bedroom mansion that cost her nearly $3 million. TMZ says she wasn't picky about the property other than it could not be located in The Oaks, the neighborhood Justin caused all kinds of havoc in. We can only imagine how horrible that would've turned out when he came to visit...

Sel's new home is near Kendall Jenner and the rest of Kardashian crew's place. Perhaps we can expect more dinner dates with those two?

Khloe Kardashian just bought Justin's house that was for sale in The Oaks. You know, the one that was raided by the police a few months ago? He's now looking to buy a new place in Atlanta.

Calm down, ya'll. Teen Mom 2 stars Leah and Jeremy Calvert are not, we repeat NOT, getting a divorce--at least that's what they're saying at the moment.

We've watched as the couple's relationship has been put through the wringer this season and they have both said some things that they probably really regret.

In the coming attractions for next week's episode, Leah says that her husband is "threatenin' to divorce me again" and it looks like they're headed for disaster, but Jeremy took to his Twitter to deliver a major spoiler.

"Jesus people me and @TM2LeahDawn are not getting a divorce !!!!" he wrote, tagging his wife in the post, which Leah retweeted. For her part, she felt that 140 characters were simply not sufficient, so she took to Facebook instead, posting the following message on her fan page:

Jeremy Calvert and I are married and living in the same home. We are NOT divorced. Sorry some disagree with how things have been portrayed on the show to make you feel so ill toward me. Life is a learning process for EVERYONE in life and NOBODY is perfect and we all have our different struggles in relationships. xoxoxo to ALL

As we've seen on the show, Leah has suggested couples counseling, but Jeremy doesn't seem too interested. To be honest, Jeremy doesn't seem too interested in much of anything but his job, which is great, but maybe he jumped the gun just a little bit when he settled down with Leah.

The couple has been married almost three years and has one child together. Leah also has twins from her previous relationship with Corey Simms--and they actually achieved the whole "conscious uncoupling" thing way before Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin made it a trending topic.

Mayonaise or sour cream? Hot fudge or maple syrup? Peanut butter or jelly? We asked celebs Kendall Schmidt, Carlos PenaVega, Emblem3 and more what they would rather be slimed with on the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards orange carpet.

Mark Wahlberg, this year's KCA host, might be best known by his nickname, "Marky Mark." We talked to celebs all about their nicknames and how they got them. While Wahlberg might be a butt-kicking, action movie star now, he used to be a member of a boy band (sort of), Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. We asked celebs about their all time favorite boy band members.

All night long, Marky Mark, aka Mark Wahlberg, was claiming he was unslimeable. His kids teamed up with Kevin Hart to prove him wrong and soak him in slime. Cody Simpson and Austin Mahone also got a major sliming.

Niall Horan became a real life Prince Charming over the weekend--well, sort of. He had the costume anyway, so that counts, right?

Niall's pal, Rochelle Humes, threw a Disney themed birthday party, requiring guests to come in costume as fave Disney characters. And we're forever in her debt for this one because, of all the characters, Niall went for the dashing Prince Charming...and, we're going to dig up an old-timey term here--we swooned. Yep. Swooned.

Rochelle and husband Marvin dressed as Jasmine and Aladdin, but all eyes were on Niall--and thank goodness for Twitter and Instagram, because we saw Nialler in his many stages of dashingness.

Of course, the pics that got all the attention were of Niall hanging ohsoclose with N-Dubz singer Tulisa, who captioned one photo: "As If my little muffin turned up as Prince Charming looooool #bruddafromanothermother"

It didn't take long for the hate-filled comments and death threats to pour in, as fans no doubt were feeling a little envious of Tulisa sharing time with the 1D singer. She responded: ""Listen crazy b**ches Niall is my home boy from day, won't take abuse off u nutta's so pip the f**k down kids #wejustfriends."

How much is that baby in the window? In a new family photo released by Kensington Palace, the Royal Family poses for a sweet portrait which gives us the warm fuzzies.

An adorable 8-month-old Prince George is held by his beaming mom Kate Middleton, while Prince William looks handsome behind Lupo, the family dog. The shot is killing us with cuteness, from George's chubby cheeks and sweater bearing his name, to how normal and happy Kate and Will seem. It was taken outside the window of their apartment at Kensington Palace.

George, who was born in July of 2013, will soon make his debut down under. The family is headed to Australia and New Zealand for a three week tour starting April 7, and George will attend an event for new parents and their babies on April 9.

He's certainly ready for his close up!

In another set of photos posted by The Daily Mail, the supermodel makes out with the Fast and Furious starlet while swimming together topless. The girls frolicked in the aqua waves, looking totally into each other as they laughed and embraced. For anyone who thought the pair was a publicity stunt when they were first started hanging out, we have to say these new pics are pretty convincing.

Suri Cruise reportedly is such a big One Direction fan that she wants to use her mom's connection with Taylor Swift to meet Harry Styles. Got all that? Yeah, it's quite a web of connected celebs, and while we wouldn't blame Suri for wanting to get up-close-and-personal with 1D, it sounds a bit far-fetched that a 7-year-old would try and pull these strings.

Heat reports (via Unreality TV) that since Katie Holmes co-starred with Taylor in The Giver, of course, she can make a One Direction meetup happen, as a source told the tabloid: "She [Suri] wants Katie to ask Taylor to arrange a meeting, since she knows that she used to date Harry Styles.

The source added, "Suri is so obsessed with 1D that she's begged Katie to get their autographs and use her celebrity status to meet them."

If this all sounds a little kooky, Gossip Cop reports that there's no truth to the report, with Katie's rep noting it's "ridiculous." Yeah, that's what we figured.

Katy Perry has certainly experimented with some interesting hair hues over the years, but this new one (if she ends up going through with it) could be her craziest yet.

During a chat with E! News on Saturday, the "Roar" singer told them she would be changing her hair color to "slime green" on Sunday, which may or may not have been inspired by the Kids' Choice Awards.

"I've wanted to go slime green for a long time," she told them. "It's spring time and I think it's time to freshen up my look...I'm really excited about slime green, but I hope my hair doesn't fall out."

We don't know that "slime green" or lime green, for that matter, necessarily screams "fresh" but hey, if it makes her happy, slather on the slime.

Katy is fresh off of a break-up with on-again, off-again boyfriend John Mayer and they seem to be serious about their "off" status this time, so maybe she's doing the whole revenge makeover thing-- although usually you go platinum blonde or something to make your ex realize how hot you are.

We haven't seen a lot of hot girls rocking this particular hair color, but maybe Katy will start a new trend and John will realize just how badly he wants to run his fingers through her slime-colored strands. Maybe not.

No updates from Katy about whether or not she actually went through with the 'do, but we'll definitely keep you posted.

Kaley Cuoco debuted a brand new 'do on her Instagram page over the weekend and it looked H-O-T. Unfortunately, it was just a photo fake-out and her REAL new 'do is actually very similar to her old 'do--not that there's anything wrong with that, but we were totally digging the fake bob.

At first, she posted a photo of her stylist looking like she was ready to get her money's worth out of those scissors. "This is happening," she captioned the photo...and it was, it's just that what we all thought was happening wasn't actually happening.




The next photo said "I can't stop" and she showed off what looked like a super short (and sexy!) bob. But wait, before you run out and tell your stylist to chop your locks so you can rock "the Kaley," read the rest...



When the newlywed debuted the finished product, we realized that she had totally just punk'd us. Her "spring refresh" is actually just some new layers, which are cute and everything, but we want the bob back!



"A little spring chop for @normancook!!#justbelowtheshoulders," her hair-dresser captioned the regram. It looks good, but it's a little eh compared to that sexy bob.

Hey, Miley Cyrus started with a little trim, too...there's still hope...although if whoever answers "hope" requests is reading this, we would like to clarify that we just want the bob, not the full-blown Miley cut. Thanks.

Does even Canada not want Justin Bieber back? Uh, it kind of seems that way.

During his homeland's beloved Juno Awards Sunday night, the country's used-to-be idol was booed when his name was announced for an award. It all went down when the Biebs earned the Juno Fan Choice Award and he wasn't there to accept it. Canada's Olympic women's curling team accepted the fan choice award on behalf of the 20 year-old superstar.


When his name was announced, cheers and obvious boos came from the crowd. We weren't the only ones who noticed, either. Fellow Canadian music artist Serena Ryder defended Justin when she came on stage to accept her Juno for Songwriter of the Year.

"I really think that Justin Bieber is an amazing musician and he deserved every bit of that award because he's been working his ass off his entire life and we need to support how awesome he is," she said totally throwing herself under the bus for Bieber backlash.

The Justin drama wasn't the only drama going down at the awards show either. Robin Thicke, who was nominated for three Junos, axed his performance at the awards show to rest his vocals at the last minute. His cancellation came as an online petition was created to have him booted from the show for "blatant sexism."
