One victim of Justin Bieber's Twitter phone number prank wants nothing more than an apology from the young superstar.
Meet 88-year-old Texas grandmother Dilcie Fleming, who chatted about her experience of being on the receiving end of Justin's prank. To back up a bit, Justin Bieber tweeted "Call me right now" to his millions of Twitter followers, sending out a bogus phone number that was missing the last digit.
Of course, his legions of fans tried to figure out the phone number, plugging in a variety of possible numbers for that final digit.
The phone prank blew up in Justin's face, however, as outraged Texas residents whose phone numbers were dialed are threatening to file a lawsuit against Bieber.
Dilcie told Good Morning America: "I had no idea what was going on. I was told that this young man put a number up on the Tweeter, or whatever it's called, but left off the last digit. People were punching in until they got an answer."
She didn't want to change her phone number since she's had the same number since 1966, but she did change her voice mail message to say it wasn't Justin's home.
Despite the inconvenience, Dilcie seems content with getting an apology from Justin and concert tickets for one of her great-granddaughters.
She told GMA, "I think if this young man would put out that this was an error and he apologized, maybe people would quit calling."
Apparently, this grandma isn't loving Bieber fans calling nonstop, saying things like, "I love you so much and I want to have your babies."
Go figure.
She told MSNBC: "I'm sure he's a very nice young man, but this must be a joke that just didn't turn out like they thought it would."
Seems he should have thought this prank through a little better!
