We love Nicki Minaj! Watch Nicki on 'American Idol,' performing her new single, 'Starships.'

Nicki Minaj wowed the 'American Idol audience' and viewers by entering the stage via a spaceship, dressed in a rainbow colored bra and skirt.

Minaj's performance of 'Starships' was high energy, as she and her beachy themed back up dancers danced and swirled as rainbow confetti rained down.

After her performance, she took the opportunity to talk about her new album, 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded,' and to get in a request to be a guest judge on 'Idol.'

Minaj said, "I was hoping maybe I could come back and be a guest judge," adding, "J-Lo, can you scoot over a little bit?"

Jennifer Lopez joked, "I don't think there's room enough for both of us here!"

Aw, c'mon Jennifer... it would be fun to have Nicki Minaj on as the fourth judge!

And for those looking to start rumors of a Nicki Minaj/Jennifer Lopez feud - think again.

Nicki told the Hollywood Reporter that they were "just joking around."

Minaj added, "She didn't seem to be having it but she gonna have it! No, actually, I love J-Lo. I love what she's done for pop culture I have nothing but respect for her and we were just joking around. I'm sure I'll have lots of fun with them when I'm guest judging."

Nicki can't commit to a full time hosting gig on 'Idol' anyway, as she shared: "Something like American Idol, it's iconic and has been around for so long and created so many stars. I would love to (guest judge) but as far as sitting down every week, I can't."

Fans on Twitter loved Nicki's 'American Idol' performance, with one tweeting: "SO let's talk about that little booty pop you did! ;)"

Nicki responded: "I was more worried bout dem thingz poppin out."
