We had a blast hanging with Austin Mahone during his live Q&A with us recently!Austin answered all of your burning questions, including a handful about his tour with Taylor Swift, his debut album and even what he'd change about himself if he could.
"She's one of the nicest girls ever," Austin said about Taylor. "I've never been on tour so it should be fun." Austin will be opening for Taylor on some of her Red tour show dates.
Before Austin was a singer, his mom had other hopes for him. "My mom wanted me to become an architect," Austin told us, and he's happy with his choice. "That would be the most boring job ever, and I'm glad I'm a singer."
He also shared a little information about his debut album, due this fall. "It's a mixture of a lot of things," he said about his next single. "Trap music, then some older stuff. But kind of modernized a little."
Austin knows he's blessed to be in his position, but there's one thing he'd like to change. "Maybe to be a little taller," he told us. "I want to be 6 feet. So I'm hoping to reach that goal some day."
