Chances are there was a time when you were little, your dad did your hair...and it was not on fleek.Now, there's a salon (that we wish was around years ago) trying to help dads out in the styling department by offering a workshop that teaches them how to do their daughters' hair, according to Hello Giggles.
Envogue Salon in Denver, Colorado, has actually found a way to make this fun for dads, too. They hold an event called "Beer and Braids," where up to six dads get one-on-one lessons on how to do braids, buns and ponytails for $55. When the workshop is over, their daughters walk in a mini runway show, and the dad with the best hair styling techniques gets a six-pack of beer as a prize.
The idea for the event started after Envogue owner Calli Hueble-Bodilis' male business partner was late to a meeting because he couldn't figure out how to do his daughter's hair for school.
Now, the salon is not only planning to offer more workshops in the near future, but they also have a mother-daughter version in the works for moms who are struggling with how to style their daughters' hair too.Crossing our fingers this idea spreads fast.
