Nikki Reed can't stop gushing over her new fiancé Ian Somerhalder.
Weeks after her Vampire Diaries star hubby-to-be popped the question, the Twilight alum couldn't help but talk about Ian at the Third Annual Catdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah Saturday, telling Us Weekly, "He's so beautiful inside and out!"
"He's quite possibly the most amazing man that's ever walked the planet, it's crazy," she continued. "I'm so lucky, I love him."
Although Nikki didn't reveal any of her wedding plans, she did tell E! News she had "sort of" started thinking about the details. However, the actress got much more candid when she dished on all of the animals they've adopted together. So far, they have four dogs, three cats and two horses.
Joking that their animals are helping prepare them for the day they have children together, Nikki said, "I think animals are great training for that. You certainly learn how to clean up after yourself and pick up a lot of poop."
As for the couple's Valentine's Day plans, Nikki said she's not sure just yet. "I'm always working on Valentine's Day. It's so far away. That's the life of an actor, right? You can never plan a week in advance. You never know what you're gonna be doing. So I don't know, I hope it's a date day and not a work day, but if it is, it is."
We're sure whatever Nikki plans to get Ian will be a sweet surprise. Last week, the actress baked her man up a cake with the words "Good luck I [heart] you" on it. "The best thing to come home to! Wow, thank you you amazing @iamnikkireed -it's true. I start DIRECTING episode 616 of The Vampire Diaries tomorrow!!! I definitely need all the luck I can get! Send me great vibes tomorrow everyone."
