Did Chris Hemsworth just throw shade at one of his brother Liam Hemsworth's exes?In an interview with GQ, the Thor star said, "I've watched Liam do things I did at his age. Like being in relationships he shouldn't be in, or being reckless just to prove a point. And I had no empathy. My mom had to remind me I was the same way."
As for which relationships Liam shouldn't have been in, Chris kept mum on whether or not he was referring to Miley Cyrus. But, the actor did go on to say he wasn't so sensitive to his younger bro's feelings because of the way their older brother Luke treated him when he was younger.
"Back when I was still on the soap [Australian series Home and Away], I became incredibly insecure and full of anxiety because I didn't know if I was any good," Chris said. "Yet I wanted it so bad. I spent years being angsty, constantly telling people I wasn't just part of a soap opera, that I was a real artist. And I remember Luke sort of snapping, telling me to shut up, that he was sick of hearing it."
Still, he lived somewhat of a Playboy lifestyle when he starred in Australia on Home Away saying, "The fame, the parties, the women - I did that stuff back home. I got away with a lot more over there. Then I came here and sort of started over." That new start included his now wife Elsa Pataky and their three kids.As for who Liam is dating now, rumors sparked at the end of November that he was dating his Hunger Games costar Jennifer Lawrence, but the actress son told Nylon that Liam is her best friend.
"I guess the thing that surprised me is that I would never expect to ever have a man this good-looking ever be my best friend," she told the mag. "I just would never assume those things could happen, but he is. He's the most wonderful, lovable, family-oriented, sweet, hilarious, amazing guy."
"He actually taught me how to be fair and to stand up for myself," she continued. "It's my biggest weakness: negotiating. I'm a wimp about standing up for myself and Liam is always fair. He's always on time, he's always doing his job, and he's good about making sure that things stay fair. He's teaching me to toughen up a little bit. That was important, I need that."
