Selena Gomez gave Taylor Swift a run for her money last night when she gave one heck of an emotional performance at the American Music Awards. Sel sang her latest hit song "The Heart Wants What It Wants" and almost gave us a heart attack when we thought Justin Bieber was going to bust out on-stage with her.Don't worry, the Biebs wasn't there. But there was a weird, silhouette behind her that TOTALLY looked like him. It seriously looked like he was standing behind her.
As emotional as all of that is, it really got real when Sel pretty much started crying during the song. How sad! And did you see those angel wings? It totally looks like the ones he wore on his last tour, right?
Selena admitted a few weeks ago that the song is about Justin and that he thinks it's beautiful. Taylor also really liked the song, too. You can check out her performance from the awards show night, here.
