We hate mean tweets. Absolutely hate them...and we don't hate a lot of things, so that's saying a lot.
We do love, however, when Jimmy Kimmel Live does his 'Celebrities Read Mean Tweets' segment. We love seeing their reactions and we hope that hearing how ridiculous the insults sound when the celebs read them out loud will hopefully deter some haters in the future.
In this segment, Lena Dunham, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ty Burrell, Britney Spears and a whole bunch of other celebs checked out their Twitter mentions and hilarity ensued.
Our favorite was definitely Britney Spears' (at the 00:50 mark) because her reaction was literally perfect.
For all the haters out there, here's a new idea so you don't end up being called out on national TV in the future: Instead of sending a mean message to/about a celeb you hate, pick one you like and send them something nice. You're welcome.
