But hairstylist Recine saw things differently at the Milly SS16 show during New York Fashion Week: Wet hair can totally be a thing!
"The look is very wet, and not overly groomed - an out-of the-shower freshness," Recine says. "I'm trying to get a real jewel-like finish with all those products."

1. Quickly comb through wet hair.
2. Add PHYTO Professional Intense Volume Mousse ($24, Beauty.com) and comb through hair.
3. Use a wide-tooth comb to pull the hair back and mix mousse with PHYTO Professional Wet Gel ($24, Beauty.com) to hold the front line of the hair.
4. Clip a tissue to the left, right and middle parts of the hair to keep the hair in place.
5. Take two pieces underneath from each side of the nape of the neck and pull them up and around the back part of the hair. Place an elastic where the two pieces meet.
6. Remove the tissues and the clips.
7. Spray PHYTO Phytolaque Soie Light Hold Hairspray ($19, Beauty.com) and PHTYO Phytoplage Protective Sun Oil ($28, Beauty.com) to complete the ultimate wet look.
"You tie it with those two pieces at the end that warrant it not just looking wet," Recine says. "It is a look."
What do you think...is shower hair still a big no or will you start embracing your lazy-girl 'do with a little product à la Milly?
