The former Spice Girl dropped a bombshell during her interview with HELLO! magazine for their December issue in which she revealed that a botched laser treatment from 15 years ago left her blind in one eye.
"I can't see at all out of my left eye," she confirmed.
It is unclear if the singer's been operating with half her vision all these years or if her sight deteriorated over time and she's only recently been completely blind in one eye, but our mind is blown either way.
In happier news, Mel B also shared that she will undergo a cornea transplant in her left eye very soon in hopes of reversing the damage. "The lasering went wrong so this will be totally life-changing," she said.
"Hopefully, I won't be seeing what the other person's seen, the other dead person, [at the end of the operation]," Mel B added. While other outlets are reporting that she said that statement in jest, we don't find it funny at all. We're sensing a lot of pain there. Can you imagine not being able to see in one eye?
Furthermore, the 39-year-old star said she would like to have another child with husband Stephen Belafonte. "We've been talking about it for two years. I'm 40 next year, I want to have one more baby."
If she were to get pregnant, it will be her fourth biological child. She already has three daughters (two from previous relationships and one with Stephen). She's also the stepmother of Stephen's little girl.
So, perhaps Mel B is hoping for a baby boy? The couple is also open to adoption, with Stephen in favor of the alternative. "I think there are so many kids in the world that we could give a chance to," he said.
