There are some people out there who think Kendall Jenner's modeling success can be attributed to her famous family and their industry connections. Some models are even mad because they think Kendall is stealing their jobs from them. "It is hard to see our modeling jobs being handed over so quickly to celebrities simply because of their fame, familiar face, and Hollywood connections," model Sierra Illig told Fox News back in September.
"It takes a spot away from a model that isn't a reality show star," Click Model Management's director chimed in. "The fact that she's Kim Kardashian's sister, and Kanye West's sis in law, and went to Valentino's house, and that Kim Kardashian was wearing a Givenchy. Well, put it together."
Kendall has finally heard enough of the nepotism accusations and in a new interview with ABC News, she's defending her success.
"I'm not trying to use a family name or anything," Kendall explained. "In reality I worked pretty hard for this... It wasn't like I just got it magically and it just happened." For what it's worth, Kendall dropped the "Jenner" name from her modeling card a long time ago.
She also cleared up the rumors that she'd "banned" sister Kim Kardashian from her shows. Check out the video below to hear Kendall's side of the story.

They aren't fans of kids who go to "normal school": "Kids who go to normal school are so teenager, so angsty," Jaden said. "They never want to do anything, they're so tired," Willow added. "You never learn anything in school," Jaden continued. "I went to school for one year," Willow continued. "It was the best experience but the worst experience. The best experience because I was, like, 'Oh, now I know why kids are so depressed.' But it was the worst experience because I was depressed."
