This Throwback Video of Ariana Grande Dancing Will Give You Life

0

Ariana Grande vintage YouTube videoOkay, we're suckers for a fun before-they-were-famous celebrity video - this time, it's a young Ariana Grande showing off some fierce dance moves.

Back in the day, Ariana made loads of YouTube videos, where she would sing for fans, answer questions and, in this case anyway, totally get her groove on like crazy.

In this vintage (well, 2007) video, Ariana and a pal do a full on dance routine/music video to Christina Aguilera's "Ain't No Other Man."

It's pretty much like the cutest thing ever.

Meanwhile, Ariana is still totally into making hilarious videos - check out Ari and Lea Michele singing a Spice Girls classic, with helium voices and distorted faces!

Demi Lovato Dedicates Song to Bruce Jenner During New Zealand Concert

Demi Lovato = ❤️

On Saturday night, during her concert in New Zealand, Demi dedicated "Warrior" to Bruce Jenner. The night before, the former Olympian's powerful interview with Diane Sawyer aired and he had just revealed that he is transitioning into a woman.

Diane pointed out at the very beginning of the special that there is a clear generational divide between HOW we know Bruce Jenner - some remember watching him become an Olympic hero when he set the world record in the decathlon during the 1976 games, while others know him as the loving dad on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Demi admitted that she's in the latter group. "An American hero, an Olympian...he was already an American hero in my country because of that," she told the audience. "To be honest, I didn't know who he was until Keeping Up With the Kardashians...Let's be honest, neither did you."

And then things took a serious turn and we can't imagine there was a dry eye in the room after she delivered the second part of her message. "But I just want to dedicate this song...and it's so cheesy that I'm even doing this, but whatever. I want to dedicate it to someone who became an even bigger hero last night...Bruce Jenner!"

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

"By the way, never thought I'd ever dedicate a song to him," she admitted. "But he was honest and he was open with his story and no matter if you agree with it or not, he probably saved so many lives and educated so many people [about] transitioning into being a woman and transgender and what that's all about. So, yeah, I just want to dedicate it to Bruce Jenner."

Editor's Note: Per Jenner's stated preference, Cambio will continue to refer to Bruce using male pronouns until he indicates otherwise.

See Jared Leto as the Joker in Creepy 'Suicide Squad' Shot

Swarovski X Lanvin : Cocktail PartyWarning: This photo may haunt your dreams.

We've slowly been seeing Jared Leto transform into his role as the Joker, from the moment he popped up at Paris Fashion Week with a platinum 'do and Karl Lagerfeld swag in March. Since then, he's been out and about showing off his new green hair and looking noticeably thinner.

Still, we haven't seen the actor's full transformation into the maniacal DC Comic's character...until now. Suicide Squad writer and director David Ayer revealed the first photo of Jared in the role...and chances are it will creep you out. "The Suicide Squad wishes you a Happy Anniversary Mr. J! #Joker75 #SuicideSquad @WarnerBrosEnt @DCComics," David captioned the shot, which shows Jared looking insane, with his mouth and eyes wide open as if he's screaming. His green hair is also visible, as are "HAHAHA" tattoos all over his body, a skull joker tattoo on his chest and a "damaged" tattoo on his forehead.

The late Heath Ledger was the last star to play the role, winning an Oscar for his portrayal of The Joker in 2009. Suicide Squad is set to hit theaters in August 2016 and also stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.

Will Zayn Malik Be the Next Justin Timberlake? 50 Cent Thinks So

Zayn Malik Justin Timberlake career 50 centA bit before Zayn Malik announced he was leaving One Direction, there were rumors that he would venture off on to his own solo career, a la Justin Timberlake. Rapper 50 Cent chimed in at the time about wanting to work with him as a mentor and, well...we shrugged it off and didn't think twice about it. Now that Zayn's departure is a reality (honestly, it still stings), 50 Cent is weighing in on just how much of a JT trajectory Zayn could potentially have ahead of him.

50 told MTV News last week: "His vision on his own is always different from what it is in the group. Like Justin Timberlake, as Justin Timberlake, away from the group - it's a lot of potential."

He added, "That was ballsy of me to say that. Now Justin's mad at me. But it is one of those things that you can see something interesting come out of him selecting what he wants."

Well, it's a cool perspective, anyway...but do you think Zayn and 50 Cent will collaborate at some point?

Here's How Blake Lively Embarrassed Herself in Front of President Obama

Blake Lively may pull off effortlessly cool on the red carpet, but when it comes to certain appearances, she can sometimes get a little awkward.

While making an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers last week, the Age of Adaline star recalled the first time she met President Barack Obama...and completely embarrassed herself.

Blake dished on a recent time she was invited to a dinner with the POTUS, saying, "I had my whole speech planned," for when she was finally able to speak to him. Instead of impressing him with everything she had to say, the actress froze up when he approached her, only able to squeeze out the word "hope."

"It was just like me summoning hope for myself," she said with a laugh. "I was awful...the only thing I could think of was that he'd left my husband a voicemail when he was running for president. So, I said 'you left my husband a voicemail'...and he was like...'cool'...and I said 'and he deleted it.'"
Celebrity Sightings In New York City - April 21, 2015"And then it got worse," she said, continued to giggle. "I was like 'he deleted it because you were only a senator then...he didn't know you would be president then...umm...can you leave my husband a voice mail.'"

Still, it got worse. After she said that to President Obama, he asked her where her phone was. She told him all of the phones were confiscated, and joked that he should get it back since he's the President. Obama then started yelling for security to bring her her phone. Several people in the room were mortified, telling her she wasn't supposed to ask for it back.

"He ended up leaving my husband an incredibly hilarious and ball busting voicemail," she said, adding that she has photos to prove that the moment continued to get even more awkward after that.

Check out the video above for Blake's story about that and another awkward moment with Anna Wintour.

Birchbox Is Making Our 'Mad Men' Dreams Come True

Christina Hendricks And John Slattery Celebrate The Launch Of The Mad Men-Inspired Birchbox At The Four SeasonsAs all good things must come to an end, so is Mad Men. We've laughed, we've cried, and we've wagged our fingers at Don, Pete and pretty much every other character in this series, for their wayward tendencies. We've cheered with Peggy as she rose from timid secretary status to powerhouse feminist. We've furrowed our brows with Betty as she struggled with the realities of being a housewife, and we sashayed with Joan as she drifted down the halls casting her hypnotic spell on everyone. Let's face it; we've ALL wanted to raid their wardrobes and play with their makeup. Fortunately for Birchbox subscribers, this dream is a reality with the Mad Men-inspired box.

In a collaboration with Mad Men, Birchbox will send out a retro-inspired beauty box to its subscribers this month, featuring some of the classic looks from the show's history. Subscribers are allowed to choose between a chic, New York-inspired box and a retro '60s Hollywood version. And for the dapper gentlemen, there is a men's box featuring fancy shaving supplies and pocket squares.

Mad Men makeup artist Lana Horochowski has used many of the box's products on actresses for the show, such as the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel, which Lana used to get Sally Draper's bold brows - a look she's glad has made a comeback: "Every woman can wear it, everyone feels beautiful in it, and there's nothing more feminine. It's timeless, everybody can rock it," she recently told Forbes.

While Birchbox originally made this Mad Men box available to non-subscribers through the end of April, it was so popular, it sold out almost immediately. But don't fret! You can still score the look by rockin' layers of mascara with falsies, soft blushes to create that peachy-cheek sheen, and gel eyeliners to lock down Megan's cat eyes.

We've put together a slide show of some other Mad Men-inspired looks just in time for prom!

7-Year-Old Natalie McGriff Learns to Love Her Hair by Creating Cool Comic 'Moxie Girl'

For some people, dealing with hair and skin-related insecurities isn't a matter of simply switching up products or investing in an expansive hat collection. Sometimes the issues run far beneath what we see on the surface. Unfortunately, that was the case for 7-year-old Natalie McGriff, a little girl from Florida who struggled to embrace her natural hair texture and the color of her skin.

In an interview with BuzzFeed, Natalie's mother Angie Nixon revealed how she initially created a Facebook page as a way to encourage her daughter until another creative resolution practically swooped in to save the day. Together, the mother and daughter duo got to work on The Adventures of Moxie Girl, a comic book about a little girl who doesn't like her hair until she begins using a special shampoo that gives her Afro puffs the equivalent of a serious protein boost, transforming them into a pair of power-packed, detachable, crime fighters.

Proving that a pint-sized package is definitely capable of producing a potent punch, Natalie and Angie took their book to a crowfunding festival in Jacksonville and walked away with over $16,000 to go towards Moxie Girl's publication.
As for future plans, Moxie Girls is set for publication in June. Meanwhile, Angie and Natalie have their sights set on Moxie Girl world domination. "We want to take things all different kids might be insecure about and turn them into their super powers," Angie said. "Everybody is different in their own way and that's what's makes them so cool."

We have to give tons of credit to Natalie and Angie for developing such a creative, positive tool to bolster self-esteem as a way to combat negative self-images! Natalie's not only a great representative for little girls, but for teens and women who continue to struggle with these issues well into adulthood.

We hereby nominate this wonderfully awesome duo for the "Mothers and Daughters Who Totally Rock" award.

What Happens When You Mix Classic Disney Theme Songs With '90s R&B Hits?

0

Here's yet another reason to fall in love with a few of your favorite classic Disney films all over again. Season nine American Idol semi-finalist Todrick Hall masterfully revamped several popular Disney movie theme songs by pairing them with classic '90s R&B hits and the results are absolutely amazing, not to mention undeniably catchy. (Don't try to fight the urge to get your groove on-we see your shoulders bouncin'!) With the help of his pal, Broadway actress Shoshana Bean, Todrick's Disney-meets-90s R&B mashup is basically the antidote to couch potato status because it's guaranteed to get you up and moving whether your limbs are prepared to move or not.

From Beauty and the Beast's "Tale as Old as Time" set to Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men's "One Sweet Day," to Aladdin's "A Whole New World" performed over Montell Jordan's party-all-weekend anthem "This is How We Do It," Todrick and Shoshana's remixes are an epic nod to the best of '90s R&B that is bound to meet the approval of even Disney's frostiest princess (We're looking at you, Elsa).

Making the mashup infinitely cooler are the backdrops that correspond with each song as well as Todrick and Shoshana's complementary costume changes throughout the video.

We totally agree, Todrick. This is how you do it.

9 Things We Learned from Bruce Jenner's Ex-Wife Linda Thompson

0
0
Bruce Jenner and Linda ThompsonBruce Jenner's second wife, Linda Thompson, is opening up after the former Olympian revealed on 20/20 that he is transitioning to a woman.

In an editorial for the Huffington Post, the former actress got candid about their past marriage, his struggle with gender identity during it and even a time when her two sons, Brandon and Brody Jenner, had questions about Bruce's changing body as children.

"By now, Bruce Jenner has revealed his struggle with gender dysphoria," she wrote. "I never would have dared to speak on this issue before he was comfortable enough to do so first. It is, after all, his truth, so I knew he should be afforded the dignity to reveal that truth on his own time and in the way he sees fit.
I have respectfully kept his secrets private and would have taken his confidences to my grave had he not spoken out."

"So as much as this is about Bruce, it's not all about him. The sharing of my experience is meant to enlighten and inform -- to lend a modicum of comfort and support for all those disenfranchised, struggling, discriminated-against, searching souls."

Take a look at the five things we learned from Linda's editorial:
Ben Gurion University Tribute to Kenny Rogers - May 2, 19831. She met Bruce Jenner in the spring of 1979 at a charity tournament: He was living at the Playboy Mansion part-time following his separation from his first wife Chrystie. The tournament was held there, and they later started dating after chatting that evening at a dinner, where she found him to be "charming and gallant." They tied the knot Jan. 5, 1981 in Hawaii.

2. Bruce told Linda about his struggles with gender identity in the 80s: "When Brody was about 18 months old and Brandon was about 3 and a half years old, Bruce came to me one day with a very somber look on his face and said, "There's something about me that I really need to tell you, something you need to know," she wrote. While expecting him to reveal an affair, he told her he "identified as a woman." She didn't understand what he meant, so she asked him to explain. "He replied that it meant that for as long as he could remember, he had looked in the mirror and seen a masculine image staring back at him where there should have been a feminine reflection," she continued. "Bruce lamented, "I have lived in the wrong skin, the wrong body, my whole life. It is a living hell for me, and I really feel that I would like to move forward with the process of becoming a woman, the woman I have always been inside."

3. She didn't have a clue before that point: "People have asked me, 'Were there any signs or clues through the years that Bruce might have had this issue? Any evidence he wore your clothes?' No. Not a clue. Nothing. Nada. Never," she said.

4. They visited a therapist together who specialized in gender dysphoria: "I needed to understand fully what Bruce's issue was, and then to determine if it was something we could overcome or 'fix.' I was naïve," she said. In one of the first sessions, the therapist told her, "Linda, this is who Bruce is. His identity is that of a woman, and that will never, ever go away. You have a choice to make. If Bruce goes through with his gender reassignment, as he is now planning to do, you have the option of staying with him after he becomes she, or you can divorce him and move on with your life."
Can't Stop The Music5. He considered gender reassignment surgery around that time: "Bruce considered traveling out of the country, possibly to Denmark, to have the gender-confirmation surgery and then come back to the U.S. identifying as female. I asked Bruce, "What about the children?" He thought maybe he could reenter their lives as "Aunt Heather."

6. They separated six months after going to therapy: "Being married to a woman was not what I had envisioned for my life," she continued. Bruce soon started taking female hormones and got electrolysis to remove the hair from his face and chest. "Bruce began to grow breasts as a result of the female hormones he was injecting."

7. Her sons had questions about his body at an early age: "Mommy, we saw Daddy getting out of the shower naked, and Daddy has boobs!," she said her kids told her following their separation. "That day I began trying to cover for Bruce, trying to protect him and trying to explain away what was clearly happening to his visage," she continued. Linda told them he had "big muscles" because of his training in the Olympics and his pectoral muscles had turned to fat because he stopped lifting weights, which made it "look like boobs." She added, "I was trying to shield Brandon and Brody from the truth and protect Bruce at the same time. It was exhausting."
Bruce Jenner and Linda Thompson8. She told their sons the truth before Bruce's interview: After Bruce married Kris Jenner, Linda said years went by "without Bruce attempting to contact" Brody and Brandon. She later told them about his "gender dysphoria" when they were 29 and 31, respectively. "After Brandon and Brody were grown and I did reveal their father's issue, I think the knowledge helped them put the pieces together and explain some of Bruce's dysfunctional parenting. I certainly did my share of rationalizing through it all," she wrote.

9. She has forgiven Bruce: "If Bruce had told me about his gender issue when we first began getting romantically involved, I would not have married him. Pure and simple," she continued. "But looking back, I'm so grateful to God, the universe, and Bruce that I didn't know, and that Bruce played the role in my life that he did," she wrote. "I would never have experienced the joy, the honor, the privilege of being the mother of the two most precious gifts I have ever known, Brandon and Brody."

TLC's T-Boz Hosts Acoustic Charity Event for Sickle Cell

Talk about a girl power blast from the past. TLC's T-Boz hosted an awesome acoustic concert in Los Angeles last weekend, bringing out the best beats from her band, and kick ass girls like Kat Graham and Faith Evans all for a great cause.

The event was organized by the TLC member, who herself is diagnosed with sickle cell anemia. Celebrity charity video app Chideo pitched in to help and Vampire Diaries star Kat, Grammy winning singers Raphael Saadiq and Faith performed for the cause, too.

T-Boz was the star of the night though, singing her hits "Waterfalls," "Unpretty," and "Baby, Baby, Baby" for the small, intimate crowd. She ended the night in tears, thanking everyone for the beautiful turnout.

"I had a dream, I literally saw [Saadiq] standing on the left side of me, and that's where he's standing today, so it's like my dream is really coming true," T-Boz told The Hollywood Reporter of making the concert a reality.

"When you have charity events, people feel bad right then, and then go on to the next thing. ... [A charity] concert is something you'd do in your free time anyway, and it's for a good cause. You can't get any better than that. It's win-win."

While at the show, Kat told us all about her latest single "1991" and how it samples TLC's 1992 hit "What About Your Friends.' She was as excited to perform with one of her idols, as we were to meet her.

"I've been wanting to do something with her for a really long time," she said. "She invited me to perform and I'm still not really believing I'm here."

Both T-Boz and Kat killed their performances. Faith sang her heart out, too. We left that place feeling proud to be a woman and with every TLC bumpin' tune in our heads.

Check out footage from T-Boz's Sickle Cell Anemia charity show, below.

This 'Thumbnail' Is Actually a Wireless Trackpad

We've all been busted for texting (or Facebooking, Instagramming, etc.) during class. It happens. But, what if you could reply to a text, email or even post a pic by discreetly swiping your index finger across your thumbnail? That's the possibility that NailO will open up.

Not that we should be texting in class, so it's definitely not designed FOR that, but it has more practical applications, too. Like, when you're cooking and your hands are full. If you want to reference the recipe, just swipe your finger across your thumb and you can interact with your device without getting pasta sauce all over the screen.

The device is being developed by researchers at the MIT Media Lab, who envision that the wearable technology could be extremely personable and therefore feel more like an extension of your body. They're even working on custom designs so you can still express your personal sense of style while you're wearing the device.

No word yet on when we'll be able to get our hands one of these awesome devices, but we'll keep you posted using our [now totally outdated] regular mice and trackpads!

Demi Lovato MyIdol new single video
We're official obsessed with creating MyIdol videos - and so is Demi Lovato, who experimented with the kooky app to create her likeness singing a rather bizarre song in Chinese.

In one fierce photo, Demi poses in one of her costumes with her toned body on full display, captioning the pic: "And then it was showtime in Auckland, New Zealand...#demiworldtour (P.s. I may or may not have been flexing my abs for the picture and I may or may not look that ripped in real life...)"

Demi also dedicated a song during one of her concerts to Bruce Jenner, and gave him a shout out on Twitter following his Diane Sawyer interview, writing: "#f**kyeahbrucejenner‪ ‪so beyond brave...You're going to save lives by sharing your story.. God bless you and your heroic soul."

Liam Payne pool cleaner
Ever wonder what your fave celebs would want to do for a job if they weren't mega famous? In Liam Payne's case, if he wasn't in One Direction, he'd have a pretty low-key job - cleaning pools.

Turns out, Liam fancies that giant net pool cleaners use to scoop up leaves.

In a new interview with Capital FM, where Liam announced the One Direction lads will perform at the Summertime Ball, discussion turned to what kind of side-gig he'd like to have. He said "part-time as a pool cleaner, joking, "It's something I've wanted to do for a long time. You get to use the net and fish out little leaves at the bottom of the pool, you can listen to your iPod while you're working."

Liam's job goals made for a pretty fun Monday morning challenge for fans, who got #LiamIsThePoolCleaner trending on Twitter in no time with some hilarious reactions and Photoshopped pics.

Bruce Jenner's Children Open Up About Their Father's Transition

Bruce Jenner's children from his first two marriages appeared on the Diane Sawyer special on Friday night and opened up about how he told them about his transition.

In this footage shown on Good Morning America this morning, they shared some more insight, including daughter Cassandra explaining that he had sometimes disappeared during her life and that now she understands why.

"We have a very complex relationship," she told Diane Sawyer in the previously unseen footage. "He's disappeared out of our lives, especially out of my life. So ... I'm looking forward to this next chapter."

"Us missing, you know, a time of our lives is still probably the hardest thing for us to deal with," son Brandon Jenner explained. "We're trying not to look back. We're just looking forward."

Bruce admits that he missed the 'big, formative years' for them as a result of his struggles and he has apologized for that.

Fortunately, now that he's told them what he was going through during that time and they understand his story - and his journey, all is forgiven and everyone is looking forward to the future together.

Also in the clip are comments from Bruce's first wife, Chrystie Crownover, who spoke with Good Morning America's George Stephanopoulos on Monday and recalled the feeling she had when Bruce shared his secret with her.

"The fact that he did share it with me that first year I felt like it was actually a gift that he gave to me that he trusted me with something so intimate," she explained. "I felt like I was in charge of something that I had to hold private and dear and quiet. It involves a tremendous amount of trust on both parts."

Check out the video above to hear more from Bruce's children, Bruce and Chrystie.

With Coachella officially behind us and a new batch of music festivals (aka trend-spotting season) before us, fresh-faced fashionistas are staking their claim among the style set. But you may be surprised to learn which 56-year-old influencer is bursting back into the hearts of now 20-somethings everywhere, thanks to her awesome Coachella snaps. Maybe you caught her on Who What Wear, or perhaps on Seventeen? That's right: Barbie's back.

Sure, the plastic doll has gotten a ton of flack recently for perpetuating unrealistic body standards for young girls. Pitted against the recent Lammily doll's body proportions, plenty of people (with arguably good intentions) are comparing the two toys - and thinking that Barbie simply doesn't measure up. Even we admit that Lammily offers a way more realistic reflection of our bodies than Barbie ever did (or does).

But if it's what's on the inside that counts, Barbie has inspired women to be astronauts, soldiers, even the president of the United States. She's worked a total of 150 different jobs and counting (how long is this girl's resume?!), so skinny mini or not, Barbie is one smart doll, which brings us to today's news.

April 27 is National #Shero Day. Mattel declared this fake holiday to celebrate the launch of their new line of dolls inspirational women. (If you feel inclined, pay tribute to important women in your life by tagging @Barbie and using the hashtags #Shero and #BeSuper on Twitter and Instagram today.)

The Sheroes include six incredible, real-life women like Lucky Editor-in-Chief Eva Chen and Oscar-winning Selma director Ava DuVernay. These fearless females are the ultimate superheroes, and they're urging the next generation of Barbie-loving leaders to change the world, too - one girl at a time.

Now we're just waiting on the Instagram pics of Trisha Yearwood Barbie cooking for her five Shero gal pals.

Justin Bieber and fansJustin Bieber is back to his old ways, and we aren't talking about being a badass! The Biebs pulled off the best surprise ever for a group of high school students in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Prom goers at Chatsworth Charter High School got the shock of a lifetime when Justin busted through their dance doors. He didn't come alone, either!

"does anyone wanna take me to prom?" Hailey Baldwin tweeted, later sharing a picture of herself dancing at the event. "I found a prom and @gabbywestbrook was my prom date."

Bieber retweeted several fan Vines from the event. One was of a lucky lady named Ashley Brooke, who shared a dance with the Biebs.

"I DANCED WITH @justinbieber AT MY PROM," she captioned the Vine of herself wearing a tiara and dancing up on JB. Following the dance, Bieber tweeted, "@CCHSRoyals always wanted to go to prom. Thanks for having me. #promcrasher :)."

Talk about taking the "best night of your life" to a whole another level! Very cool of Justin and Hailey to surprise the students, don't you think?

one direction friends theme song mashup videoWe're pretty obsessed with the One Direction and Friends mashup video that's been making the rounds recently. Trust us, in our travels we've seen plenty of things mashed with the Friends theme song, but this is by far our fave.

Capital FM got all creative on us and we've got to hand it to them - the result is a glorious montage of fun clips of the guys that literally make us ache. Yep, the absence of Zayn Malik here is very, very real, but the remaining four-piece moments give us hope.

If that's not enough to lift your spirits, check out what the brilliant Stephen Hawking had to say about Zayn still being part of One Direction in a parallel universe.

The '90s Called and Its Choker Is Making a Comeback

If the flood of Coachella pics raining down your Instagram feed wasn't enough of a heads-up, maybe poke your head outside and appreciate what time it is. Can you smell those roses? Spring is in full bloom. Bursting back to life with it are a slew of new styles, and our absolute fave is the choker necklace.

Though chokers are not a completely new trend, we were happy to let the look skip its way back into our '90s-loving hearts. Perhaps we should credit the choker's resurgence to spring music festivals' tendency to re-discover trends and bedazzle them (sometimes very literally). While this creates a lot of fleeting fads, we've got a feeling the choker is here to stay.

#PaintYourNailsForBruce: Men Paint Their Nails to Show Support for Bruce Jenner

This might be one of our favorite hashtags ever.

During his interview with Diane Sawyer on Friday night, Bruce revealed that he is transitioning into a woman and said that one of the things he's most looking forward to is to be able to "have my nail polish on long enough that it actually chips off."

Now, men (and women) from around the world are painting their nails and posting the pictures on Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #PaintYourNailsForBruce. Who knew that something as simple as a manicure could send such an incredible message of love and support?

The amazing idea actually came from KISS 1065 in Sydney, Australia as their way of showing support for the former Olympian as he continues his journey.
