Emma Stone and Lena Dunham have more in common than being besties with Taylor Swift...both ladies also scored Golden Globe nominations today!Nominees for the 72nd annual Globes were announced today in Hollywood, and Emma got a nod for Best Supporting Actress for Birdman. Of course, the actress' reaction to the happy news was hilarious.
"I have no words. I am so incredibly honored and grateful for this and feel insanely lucky to to have had the chance to work with Alejandro, Michael, Edward, and the whole cast and crew of the beautiful madness that is Birdman. Now can someone please explain who this Meryl Streep woman is?!"
She's of course referring to her competition in the category from the legendary actress.
Lena's hit HBO shows Girls is nominated for Best TV Series, Comedy or Muscial and she scored an individual nod for Best Actress in TV, Comedy or Musical herself.
"It's a true joy to return to the Golden Globes this year. We are so grateful to the HFPA for their continued recognition, and we at Girls are honored to share a category with such formally daring, forward-thinking shows. We are mega-fans of every one of these programs. As for my fellow comedy actresses, this category continues to be my dream sleepover," she said.
Matthew McConaughey received a nomination for Best Performance in his TV show True Detective.
