So...Jennifer Aniston is apparently on a pre-wedding diet. Um, why? The actress recently revealed to Self magazine that if she could switch bodies with one person for one day, it would be model Gisele Bundchen, which is fine because we would probably all do that, if given the option. The thing we don't understand, though, is that Jennifer already has a perfect body, so what is she really trying to accomplish?
According to E! News, Jen's is embarking on a diet that will perform double duty as she wants to be in shape for her upcoming film, Cake, and of course her upcoming wedding, which they say she'd like to have on an island somewhere.
First of all, isn't it kind of weird that she's going on a DIET for a film called Cake? We just couldn't resist the irony there. Second of all, we hope this diet is more for the film and less of a pre-wedding diet because if it's the latter, she might be stuck in Diet-ville for all eternity. Seriously, they've been engaged for two years already and it doesn't look like this wedding is going to happen anytime soon.
At the end of the day, we don't really care. They've adopted a dog together, they have sent out joint holiday cards and they do all of the other cute couple-y stuff that married people do, so we stamped our seal of approval on this one a long time ago, whether they ever make it official or not.
Side note: Isn't it kind of weird that Jen and her ex-husband Brad Pitt are both involved in some of the longest celebrity engagements of all time...at the same time? Maybe they know something we don't? After all, you can't get divorced if you never get married. Cheers to not becoming a statistic (again).
