This week, on the season nine premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, we see what was really going on behind-the-scenes as Khloe Kardashian's marriage to Lamar Odom crumbled.Tonight, on the season nine premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, things get intense pretty quickly as Khloe Kardashian opened up about the trouble she was having with Lamar Odom.
She said it was so bad, she didn't even want to read her Twitter comments or go out in public because all of it was so uncomfortable. We definitely got a taste of that when we saw how the paparazzi were treating her and some of the mean questions they were asking her.
At one point, Khloe lamented, "I can't even look people in the eyes...and I'm not even the one who did anything."
Fortunately, Khloe has the support of her family and she was able to spend time with them to help take her mind off of things a little. Sister Kourtney Kardashian takes her for a fun day of grape-stomping with Kris and Kendall Jenner and we finally got to see Khloe smile, which was rare in this episode.
Although their split and speculation about what might be happening obviously played out in the media, it's pretty painful to watch Khloe on a day-to-day basis as she endured the heartbreak of it all.
As we all know, Khloe wasn't the only one who was going through a split during that time.
After the lease runs out on Bruce Jenner's beach house, Kris Jenner expects him to move back into the family's Calabasas compound so everyone can live under one roof and stop all of the speculation.
Unfortunately, Bruce decides to renew the lease on the house and they realize that they really do prefer living apart.
By this time, it wasn't just the media and the fans who were speculating, even their own family was starting to wonder what was going on and they wanted to get a straight story out of Kris and Bruce, so they called a family meeting and told everyone about their decision.
With two marriages crumbling right before our eyes, it was certainly a sad way to start the season, but we've seen just how resilient this family can be and we know there will be much happier times to come.
