We thought Amanda Bynes' sudden announcement that she was engaged to a 19-year-old named Caleb living in California seemed strange, and turns out, it wasn't true.
The troubled 28-year-old, who is back in treatment on a mandatory 5150 psychiatric hold, claimed that she was engaged and would be on the cover of People magazine with her future husband.

But TMZ tracked down a source close to her supposed future fiancee who says not only are they not engaged, but they've never even dated.Apparently, Caleb Pusey and Amanda met in rehab and became friends, but it was never romantic. In fact, he reportedly hasn't spoken to the former actress in months.
