The "Stay" songstress gave the Rihanna Navy quite the tease Tuesday, when she tweeted, "Burning candles inside of the studio, rappin n prayin...," along with a blurry shot of what looked liked candles glowing in the background.
Rihanna followed that up the next day with a retweet of a fan and a telling response.
"@PhuckMarqy: I can't even sleep with the thought of new music coming out soon." Me errr night

If the pop star does release new music soon, it will be her eighth studio album. And it's no surprise the possibility of that got fans excited, considering it's been two years since the release of her 2012 hit album Apologetic.
Back in September, Ne-Yo told Capital FM that Rihanna has big plans coming up for her music, giving a hint he's been working with her on it. "I went into the studio for her not too long ago to do some stuff, I don't know what's being kept or what-not," he said. "I noticed she's got a few things coming, she's got a new album in the works."
So, there's definitely a possibility. We'll have to wait and see if that new album drops before the end of the year.
