Wiz Khalifa appeared to do just that, popping up on Instagram with his locks dyed in a bright shade of purple - a look that screamed 'this is my break-up hair' - after he and his wife Amber Rose called it quits.
"Smile for the day," he captioned the shot on Twitter, which showed him cracking a smile as he lounged on a couch with a drink in his hand.
The rapper's new 'do, which he debuted Oct. 7, comes just a couple of weeks after Amber filed for divorce and went on to accuse him of cheating. He captioned the first shot of his violet locks, "Purple Rain."
In spite of Amber's Twitter rant against Wiz, the music star has kept quiet about the breakdown of their marriage, spending his time posting positive tweets instead, like "nothing wrong with making yourself happy."

Meanwhile, although Wiz has been trying to stay positive, Amber has been mourning the downfall of their marriage, tweeting Oct. 6, "The pain...I wake up every morning feeling like my best friend died..... I never knew what a true heartache felt like until now.
Amber and Wiz tied the knot in August 2013. In their divorce filings, she is seeking full custody of their son with Wiz getting visitation rights, and Wiz is seeking joint custody.
