It looks like none of Robin Thicke's efforts to win back Paula Patton worked.
Following months of the singer making public pleas for his wife's forgiveness - even naming his latest album after her - the Baggage Claim star officially filed for divorce on Oct. 3, according to People. Paula cited "irreconcilable differences" in the papers and is asking for joint custody of their 4-year-old son Julian Fuego.
The couple first announced their split in February amid rumors of Robin's infidelity, telling the mag in a statement, "We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time."
Following that statement, it seemed like Robin took time out during a concert every month to tell the crowd just how hard he was trying to get Paula to forgive him. He even went on to release the single "Get Her Back" in May about just that.

The couple met when they were 14 years old and went on to tie the knot on June 11, 2005.
