Where's Miley Cyrus when you need her? Apparently even the twerking queen couldn't keep her MTV Video Music Awards homeless date Jesse Helt out of jail.According to Page Six, an Oregon judge sentenced Jesse to serve six months in jail stemming from an arrest back in 2010. He was reportedly arrested for breaking and entering in Oregon.
Sometime before he made an appearance at the VMAs and accepted Miley's award on behalf of the homeless teens out there, he subsequently violated probation and failed to complete his court-ordered community service.
Jesse met Miley through My Friend's Place, a shelter for homeless youth in L.A. She's reportedly offered to help him pay for his legal help, and given him a room in her house.
He will receive credit for 57 days previously served. Lets hope he gets his life back on track when he gets out.
