Blake Lively is going to be a mom!The former Gossip Girl star is pregnant, announcing the news on her Preserve website Monday that she and her husband Ryan Reynolds are expecting their first child together.
In a post dedicated to moms, Blake wrote "With family on our mind, we looked to the origin of it all-to the women in our lives who are right there, at that special moment; at the creation of family."
Following those words is a collection of photos of pregnant women celebrating at an outdoor party together, with a shot of Blake at the end palming her own small baby bump.
The 26-year-old actress has made it no secret that she has been ready to start a family with her Turbo star hubby. Back in August, she told Marie Claire she was excited to have babies with him in the near future saying, "I gotta get started. If I could spit out a litter of kids, I would."Ryan has echoed those sentiments as well, telling Details last August, "We'd love to have a big family. We both come from big families - my parents did four, Blake's did five. A lot of people say it's crazy, but we'll only know when we're there, you know? We'll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think."
Blake and Ryan's baby news comes shortly after the couple celebrated their second anniversary. The duo tied the knot in September 2012 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
