Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale is totally A...as in awesome!
Every 7 minutes, a child is bullied in school and the actress and singer is teaming up with Abercrombie for Are You An Ally?, a new anti-bullying campaign that hopes to change that statistic.
"It's a serious issue. It's putting other people down to help you feel better about yourself," she explains in the campaign video, adding that she felt like an outsider herself while growing up. "I would often question what I was doing wrong...and why I deserved to be treated like that."
Clearly, Lucy's having the last laugh now but she learned how to deal with valuable advice from her family. "When in doubt, kill 'em with kindness," she shares of how she coped.
Abercrombie has made a special line of self-empowerment tees, with proceeds benefiting No Bully, as well as created a scholarship fund for students who have been successful despite bullying.
