James Franco may be an acclaimed actor, but when it comes to finding a girlfriend, he hasn't had much success.Although the star seems charismatic, James said he kind of freezes up when he gets around the opposite sex. "I've always been a little shy in meeting women," he told Loaded magazine. "I've been getting better over the years at being able to speak more comfortably when I first meet someone."
"Obviously, you have to be a little apprehensive on some occasions, but usually it's all very natural," he continued.
Considering James caused a stir back in May when he tried to hook up with a 17-year-old he met on Instagram...this might not be that hard to believe.
Still, once his confession to Loaded got some pick up around the web, James poked fun at himself, posting a screenshot of an article on Instagram Wednesday titled, "James Franco Can't Get a Date.""I can't get a date, I'm too shy. Please help. Pwwweeeaasseee," he captioned the shot. According to Arizona Central, James has been single since splitting from Ahna O'Reilly after five years of dating in 2011.
Maybe he's serious?
