Last week, Kim Kardashian had a scary encounter with infamous prankster Vitalii Sediuk, when he almost tackled her to the ground as she was trying to get out of a car in Paris. Not surprisingly, nobody was impressed with Vitalii's latest stunt (his others have been equally unimpressive), but instead of him saying "yeah, that was stupid and I'm sorry" like we were hoping he would, he's defending his actions.
"The prank with Kim was my protest that US banned me from entering the country," he said in a statement to E! News.
So, it's Kim's fault that the US banned you from entering the country after you ambushed Brad Pitt, crawled up America Ferrera's dress and all that other stuff? Got it...
He did say he hopes Kim is OK and that he didn't "mean to cause any harm," adding that Kim is a "goddess." Yeah, you would know now that you've been up close and personal with her, huh?
Fortunately, she wasn't hurt...although the famous couple did beef up their security after the incident.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Vitalii explains that he was actually extra careful with Kim. "If it was Kanye West, I would have done it like I did it with Bradley Cooper and Leonardo DiCaprio," he explains. "But with Kim Kardashian, I was very cautious because I know she is a woman - so I kind of hugged her legs. I already had a bad experience with America Ferrera. It's different with men."
Um, how about you just stop doing it altogether and then you don't have to worry about the exact ambush strategy for each person, because let's face it, it NEVER really ends well, does it?
So, why doesn't he stop? "I like attention," he explains. "I like the show business world. But it's obviously not my intention to offend someone. It looks like I'm a monster, but I'm a normal guy. Well, what I'm doing isn't normal - but I don't have bad intentions."
Regardless of his intentions, we're yet to hear of anything GOOD that has come from any of his stunts.
