In other Kellie news, she may have finished strong on Dancing With the Stars, but her next role is even more interesting. She'll be playing a yam. Before you envision Kellie dressed in a yam costume, think again. She'll be lending her voice to the newest VeggieTales DVD, Beauty and the Beet, playing Mirabelle, the lead singer of a band of sweet potatoes. It's no small potatoes (groan...), Kellie is performing seven original songs for the movie, out on DVD and on iTunes on October 14.
