Amanda Bynes has been pretty quiet about her treatment for reported mental disorders after she was placed on a mandatory 5150 psychiatric hold last year, but now, she's shooting down reports she's schizophrenic."For the record, Amanda does not have schizophrenia, nor has she ever been diagnosed with it," her lawyer tells People exclusively. "Amanda currently is on zero medication. She's devoted to living her life as healthy as possible."
Indeed! The 28-year-old actress turned fashion student recently shared photos of her spring break in Cabo, where she rocked a bikini and was joined by her family. While she was accused of throwing a bong out the window last year and getting kicked out of hotels for smoking weed, Amanda no longer inhales.
"She's never had a history of abusing alcohol or hard drugs, and she's proud to say she's been marijuana-free for the past nine months," her lawyer adds.
An insider tells People Amanda is still in outpatient therapy a few times a week. While we still don't understand why she was behaving so bizarrely before, we're just glad that she seems back to her normal self. Really, it's no one's business but her own as long as she's getting better, right?
