What moment would you want to relive if the world were ending?
That question made Seeking a Friend for the End of the World cast members Steve Carell, Keira Knightley, Adam Brody and more pause, but it didn't stump them at the movie's premiere on Monday night.
"The birth of my children and my wedding day are like the big touchstone days" said Steve. Then the obviously-very-fun dad revised his answer to something a bit lighter. "Probably go go-karting and play miniature golf."
Keira decided her past birthday parties were the ones she'd revisit. "There's been quite a few, had a really great 21st birthday party," she said. "Had a really great 26th birthday party as well."
Seeking A Friend is about what happens when humankind learns that an asteroid is veering right toward earth. Steve and Kiera play neighbors who meet and go on a road trip in order for him to reunite with an old girlfriend. Keira explains that even though the world is ending, it's not a depressing film. "Weirdly it's so kinda positive and hopeful and life-affirming," she says.
Be sure to catch Seeking A Friend For The End of World in theaters Friday, June 22nd.
