Darren Criss is giving back once again. The 'Glee' star performed his second-annual concert for Toys for Tots on Sunday, after announcing a last-minute secret show at Joe's Pub in New York City.Just five hours before performing, Darren made the show announcement on Twitter, and, as you can imagine, the 100 tickets for the show soon sold out. To gain entry, the first 100 fans needed to bring a new, unwrapped toy that cost under $15, as well as $10 cash. In return, those fans received tickets and an exclusive concert poster.
During the set, Darren played 'Teenage Dream' and his rendition of 'Part of Your World' from 'The Little Mermaid,' as well as a cover of Bob Dylan's 'New Morning' with his brother and Freelance Whales member Chuck Criss. The duo also sings the song on the forthcoming 'Chimes of Freedom' compilation honoring Dylan and Amnesty International.
Darren also performed 'Jealousy,' a song from his 2010 'Human' EP, but when he lost track of the lyrics, he humorously asked that the audience restart their cameras for YouTube. Watch a clip from his performance below, and get more info on Toys for Tots on its official website.
