Fans keep up with her these days through social networks, like Tumblr and Twitter. In a letter posted to the singer's Tumblr penned to the late Whitney Houston, she credited the legend as being the reason why she discovered singing as her calling.
After parting ways from Columbia Records in 2011, she created Little Lady Entertainment, leading to the production of her forthcoming EP, Perfect Imperfection. As the prelude to her sophomore album of the same name, the EP will serve as a platform of what is to be expected of the final release.
In addition to the launch of Little Lady Entertainment came the Tiffany Tuesday's series that boasts promising songs and remixes of other songs for fans to enjoy. With "Won't Find Me" and "You Got a Woman" having two completely different sounds and her last international release "I'll Be There" having an even more different sound, the versatility and creativity is there. The latter reached number 61 on Billboards U.S. Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart two years ago garnering radio play and spending weeks on BET's 106 & Park.
Evans hinted that she may be collaborating with rapper Missy Elliott on Twitter recently sparking up rumors that the Imperfectly Perfect EP may be released sooner than everyone thinks.
"It's truly a body of work. It's a new beginning for me. It's my personal truth. It's starting over and being able to reveal who I am. This EP represents all of that. It's urban, it's gritty but you still get those ballads with a lot of knock to them", the singer said in a recent interview with Edge Magazine.
