Diego Boneta is one of the hot new stars to watch out for this year, playing opposite of Julianne Hough, Alec Baldwin, Paul Giamatti, and Tom Cruise in the movie "Rock of Ages." This movie looks so hilarious, and successfully disguises all these actors as total rock-stars.
We caught up with Diego at Elle's "Women in Music" event the other night, and we had to ask what it was like walking on to set everyday, to which Diego responded that it so much fun and different everyday depending on which actor he was sharing scenes with that day.
He also told us about how incredible Tom's work ethic is, from working 8 hours a day on vocal lessons to doing four hours of guitar lessons, but that Tom taught him about "preparing and letting go."
"It was like he never practiced anything, was just in the moment. Like jumping off a building...just seeing that was very inspiring."
He also admitted that his favorite scenes in the movie were the musical numbers, but that the entire shooting of the movie was by far "the best time of my life."
"Rock of Ages" is set to release June 1st. For the full trailer, go to: http://www.cambio.com/2012/04/05/rock-of-ages-trailer/
