Well, it was short and sweet, but Nicki Minaj's 15 minute surprise Times Square performance was well received.Nicki took to the stage wearing tiger striped leggings and a black bodysuit, with a straight blonde wig.
Nicki was out to promote her 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' album and gave lucky fans a brief three song concert on Friday, April 6.
Here's the cool part - the Nicki Minaj Times Square concert was pretty under-the-radar until the last minute.
Nokia hosted the concert to promote Nicki's new album and the launch of their Lumia 900 smartphone.
Minaj tweeted out the invite to the Times Square show: "Shutting down TIMES SQUARE!!!!!! Let's go #Nokia"
The set lasted just 15 minutes, as she performed 'Starships,' 'Right By My Side' and 'Super Bass.'
Cool bonus: the 1,000+ fans in the crowd were part of a music video for Nicki's 'Starships' remix.
Nicki told MTV.com: "All the fans that were in Times Square tonight will get to be in the video, which is gonna be super exciting for them to see themselves. I'm actually really interested in seeing it; I didn't really know how they were going to make it all happen."
