Jason Derulo Talks Openly about Relationship Status with Jordin Sparks and Idol

As you all know, Jason Derulo is no longer solo! That's right ladies, his heart has been taken by the talented Jordin Sparks. The two are making it work long distance. Jason is currently in Miami recording, and Jordin takes any time she can to fly out from Pheonix. Apparently the two have been dating for a long time and have been trying to keep the press out of their business. But with Jason's recent accident, he has a new outlook on life, and I guess that includes coming clean about his relationship status.

It has been said the Jason calls Jordin his "backbone" and that she has been especially supportive in his time of recovery.

In terms of his new album and collaborating with Jordin, Jason tells us they have "done a couple of things thus far...I'm hoping she can be on my record." Are you guys loving this new musical couple?!

Ironically, Jason is also currently working at his girlfriend's old stomping grounds American Idol on a his new song "Undefeated." We asked the singer which Idol judge he would most like to collaborate with, and he gave a very politically correct answer.
