One Direction Twitter
We've sorted through the Bieber/1D rumors and have the truth for you... there won't be a collaboration between these mega musical forces right now.
The rumors got their legs after Niall Horan tweeted: "In the studio with our boy @justinbieber last night. It's gonna sound great!"
That sounds pretty legit, right?
Turns out the boys were just listening to Justin's new album, as Liam Payne tweeted: "Got a first listen to Justin Bieber's new album yesterday wowww big songs!!! It's gunna be a smash ... Expect the unexpected :O."
Justin replied: "@Real_Liam_Payne Thanks buddy. Good chillin with u guys."
One Direction and Justin Bieber won't be working together though, with GossipCop.com clearing up the rumors and sharing what Justin's rep said, "They just came by the studio and heard some of the album 'Believe.'"
They're not in the studio working together, as some websites reported, but maybe there will be a future Justin Bieber and One Direction song?
Justin's manager, Scooter Braun, tweeted the possibility on March 10: "very possible. he likes them and thinks they are good dudes. all people of that generation should be there to help EACHOTHER"
Justin Bieber, is, however, collaborating with Carly Rae Jepsen, as she told MTV News recently about their time in the studio:
"We collaborated on one song together, but in general, I was blown away by Justin. He's so down-to-earth and very charming and very talented. It's still a little top-secret, but it's going to be coming out soon, I hope."
She added, "It's a really lovely song. The way he presented it was pretty cool. It was my first time meeting him. I was at the studio, and he basically just said, 'What do you think of this song?' and I was like, 'Wow, I love it.' "
The Justin and Carly Rae duet is "pretty stripped-down," she explained, adding, "It's pretty casual. It's not too dance-y; it's more intimate. It's a duet."
