Rival High School Helps Get Lady Antebellum At Prom For Tornado-Damaged High School

And just when you thought you were having the best prom ever! Indiana's Henryville Junior-Senior High School was picked as the winner of the Lady Antebellum's "Own The Night" prom contest.

The school was severely damaged by a tornado on March 2nd. Because of the damage, the students were forced to resume their spring semester in an industrial building 10 miles away.

The band won't be able to make the school's actual prom due to scheduling conflicts, but they plan on having a concert for the juniors and seniors on May 16th in nearby Louisville, Kentucky. After that private performance, the country trio will hold a public concert to raise money for a local disaster relief fund...how cool!

What's even more cool is how this high school's rival school got together to help out the damaged school. They made a tape petitioning how Henryville deserved the Lady-A performance!
