Jennifer goes from the highly anticipated big budget blockbuster 'The Hunger Games' to this low budget horror flick.
She's getting back to her small budget indie roots, but this is a different side of Jennifer. Of course, 'House at the End of the Street' was filmed before Jennifer's fame blew up with 'The Hunger Games.'
So, a pre-Katniss Jennifer was still working in the trenches of the cheapie films - looks like those days may well be behind her now.
In 'House at the End of the Street,' Jennifer plays Elissa, who moves into a house with her mom, played by Elisabeth Shue. Of course, their new pad just happens to be located next to a substantially creepy house.
Turns out, there was a double-murder at the home next door, which should probably be your first clue to pass on scooping up a house in the neighborhood. But they probably got a great deal, right?
Creepy stuff starts happening, as you can see in the trailer, so if you're looking for a good scare and love Jennifer Lawrence, this may be worth checking out.
'House at the End of the Street' opens in theaters on September 21.
Jennifer also graces the cover of Rolling Stone, and inside the issue, 'Hunger Games' co-star Josh Hutcherson dishes on their first call: "When I got cast, she called me up for one of those five-minute 'Excited to work with you, blah, blah, blah' things. The conversation started with her saying, 'Think about a catheter going in - ouch!' and then turns into a 45-minute rant about zombies and the apocalypse."
Anyone else love Jennifer's randomness?
