In an example of life imitating art, it turns out that Matthew Morrison, just like his Glee character Will Schuester, will be walking down the aisle very soon.According to US Weekly, Matthew popped the question to his model girlfriend Renee Puente.
Matthew's friend Elton John announced the engagement during his White Tie and Tiara Ball in London. This is the very same event that the love birds stepped out at for the first time as a couple about two years ago.
Matthew wore a tailored suit with bow tie to the event, while Renee wore a navy blue embroidered dress and a huge diamond ring. No word yet on the size or cut of the ring, but we will keep you posted.
To make the night even more amazing, Elton and Coldplay's Chris Martin celebrated the couple's announcement by performing a show-stopping rendition of Elton's romantic ballad "Your Song."
Matthew is currently in England promoting his new album Where It All Began, but will be returning to the set of Glee to start filming season 5, shortly.
