Kat Von D and Deadmau5 became engaged last December with the DJ proposing to his leading lady on Twitter. Now, Kat is alleging that Deadmau5 cheated on her and has confirmed that the relationship is officially over. Well, it looks like this game of Kat and mau5 is officially over!Kat Von D and DJ Deadmau5 became engaged in December 2012 when Deadmau5 proposed to the tattoo artist on Twitter, writing, "I can't wait for Christmas so.... Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?"
Of course, Kat accepted the proposal and it looked like they were going to live happily after...that is, until the couple once again took to Twitter to share their latest status update.
"Man, I'm a fool," Kat wrote. "Cheating on your loved one is the most hurtful thing one could do. I hate to have to admit, that this relationship is indeed over."
In his defense, Deadmau5 tweeted a link to a Facebook post, with the caption "all I have to say on the matter."
In the statement, he explained that he did have "relations with another woman" when he and Kat were broken up, but claims that he was never unfaithful to Kat while they were together.
Looks like it's a classic case of "he said, she said," but they both seem eager to move on with their lives as they go their separate ways with Deadmau5 saying he will not go "tit for tat" and Kat proclaiming that she is moving "onwards and upwards."
