Just how different is Janel Parrish from her character on Pretty Little Liars? She doesn't typically "run people over with cars." Check out what else the actress had to say about Mona and more!If there's one thing Janel Parrish wants Pretty Little Liars fans to know about her, it's that she's nothing like her character Mona Vanderwaal."The most opposite thing [I am] to my character Mona is that I don't try to run people over with cars typically," she said with a laugh.
And that wasn't the only interesting tidbit the 24-year-old actress shared with us.
"This new Mona in season four is a more humbled Mona," Janel continued. "She's no longer putting on any fronts. She's just the real Mona that you've never really seen before. She's still manipulative, she's very smart but she's a little scared because she's no longer pulling all the shots and she knows that someone's after her."
And although she sometimes gets scolded on Twitter by overzealous fans upset about something Mona did on the show, that doesn't mean she doesn't have a blast playing her.
"The most fun I've had playing Mona was when I was in the mental asylum and I was playing a crazy person, only because you never really get to experience what that's like," Janel said. "I just had to go there and find a dark spot."
