Paris Jackson was hospitalized after a reported suicide attempt on June 5. After a 72-hour psychiatric hold, she was transferred to UCLA. So, where is she headed after that? We were completely surprised and deeply saddened when we got word that Paris Jackson was rushed to the hospital for a reported suicide attempt on June 5.Immediately after the incident, Paris was placed on a 72-hour hold for psychiatric evaluation before being transferred to UCLA hospital.
According to People magazine, Paris' treatment will be far from over when she is released from UCLA.
The magazine reports that Paris' grandmother, Katherine Jackson, and her mother, Debbie Rowe, decided in conjunction with the doctors that Paris should be moved to a longer-term treatment center, where she will receive both school and therapy.
"Paris will be staying at least another week, and then she'll be going to a facility for additional care," their source reveals.
Since Paris is only 15, she probably won't have much of a say in the matter, but it sounds like the decisions are being made with her best interest in mind, so hopefully she will be on board with the whole process.
Given that Paris was reportedly bullied at her old school, this might be a welcome change of scenery for the teenager.
We continue to wish Paris the best and are glad to see that her family seems to be rallying behind her.
