Britney Spears recently sat down with Ryan Seacrest and revealed some new details about her upcoming eighth album, saying that it's very different than the stuff she's done before. Until this week, all we knew about Britney Spears' next album was that she was collaborating with Will.i.am.But, thanks to a new interview the pop star did on Ryan Seacrest's radio show on Monday, we have some new information.
"I want to definitely take this album and have a new approach with it and make it a little different than anything I've ever done," she told him. "Will has a lot of really interesting different tracks that I've listened to that are really cool that I haven't actually written on yet, but there's a lot of guitar and I think people will be surprised with this album. It's going to be really different."
Spears also said that we can expect to hear the new music "by the end of the year," and revealed that her Vegas residency is "quite possible," but surprisingly isn't confirmed yet.
Although we have to wait for Britney's new album to drop, we still have her new single "Ooh La La" from the Smurfs 2 soundtrack to hold us over!
