Ariana Grande has built a huge fanbase from her role on 'Victorious,' but now she's ready to show the world what she can do as a singer. The 18-year-old has just released her debut single, 'Put Your Hearts Up,' proving she's a force to be reckoned with.The song premiered on Ryan Seacrest's radio show on Friday, 11 days before the song is set to be released on iTunes. The pop tune is full of energy, and encourages listeners to band together, because "if we give a little love, we can change the world."
The singer/actress didn't hear the actual premiere, but she still super psyched about it.
"So apparently I missed it on the radio," Ariana tweeted. "It was really early! Grrrr. But so exciting anyway! Hope you all <3 the song! #puttyourheartsup :)"
'Put Your Hearts Up' was co-written by Linda Perry, sampling a melody from her 1993 hit 'What's Up?' by with her band 4 Non Blondes. The track hits iTunes on December 20.
