It's safe to say the days leading up to the Governor's Ball Music Festival haven't been smooth for Kanye West. But, before the rapper hits the stage for his big performance Sunday, check out the ways he's made headlines this week.Here's hoping Kanye West can ease some stress at the Governor's Ball Music Festival this weekend.The outspoken rapper has been the target of quite a bit of tabloid fodder this week, with mags essentially accusing him of being a deadbeat dad-to-be.
Following his girlfriend Kim Kardashian's baby shower last Sunday, her stepdad Bruce Jenner kicked off the media frenzy when he told Extra he's only met him once and that Kanye is "never around."
And while TMZ sifted through Kimye's public appearances and found several shots of the couple at the same place as Bruce, the former Olympian hasn't taken back his comment yet.
Meanwhile, In Touch reported Kanye won't be in attendance when Kim delivers their baby girl, saying he's "very squeamish and doesn't want to be around blood."
And there was more to come.
Following that hubbub, RadarOnline reported that Kanye and Kris Jenner--Kim's mom---are going through a power struggle, saying Kris wants to "make as much money as possible off of the baby" and Kanye wants the baby out of the spotlight when she's born.
Yikes.
Don't be surprised if we see Kanye release some steam a la his infamous screaming on-stage rant at his London show a couple of months ago.
