Britney Spears knows what it's like to have a complete breakdown...but, thanks to her conservatorship, she also knows what it's like to turn things back around. Now, Britney is reportedly reaching out to Amanda Bynes and encouraging her to get help.It's hard to watch what's happening in Amanda Bynes' life and not want to help her.Over the past year, the former Nickelodeon star has been demonstrating increasingly bizarre behavior. For starters, she shaved her head, pierced her cheeks, got arrested multiple times and has even accused a policeman of sexually harassing her.
If anyone can relate to Amanda, it's Britney Spears, who went through a similar breakdown in 2007. In Britney's case, her father obtained a conservatorship over her and was able to completely turn her life around.
Now, Britney reportedly wants to see Amanda get the same help that she did.
According to The Celebrity Fix, Britney reached out to the troubled starlet a week before her arrest "begging her to contact her parents for help."
Their source also said that Britney is willing to help Amanda with the music career she's been trying to start, saying, "Britney had a brief conversation with Amanda the week before her arrest and promised to personally help Amanda get her career back on track by helping her record music."
While Britney's efforts are certainly noble, we're not sure how open Amanda was to the offer.
Courtney Love recently tried to give Amanda advice via Twitter and Amanda fired off an angry response, calling her "the ugliest woman" she's ever seen.
Hopefully Britney has better luck!
