When Amanda took to her Twitter and made some very specific accusations against the arresting officer, the NYPD launched an internal investigation.
The conclusion? The NYPD Deputy Comissioner tells TMZ that "Investigators have found no evidence to corroborate Ms. Bynes' allegations." He adds that, ""a credible civilian witness who was with the officers throughout told investigators that none touched Ms. Bynes inappropriately or otherwise engaged in misconduct at any time."
Of course, Amanda had something to say about the NYPD's findings (or lack thereof).
According to Amanda, she is dropping the case, because living with the fact that she doesn't want to date him is worse than any criminal punishment he could be subject to.
Here is the rant in full...enjoy!
"My lawyer is getting my case dropped! There was no proof of sexual harassment or drugs. Instead of me asking for the cop to be arrested for sexual harassment, I want my case dropped as well. His punishment will be being the cop who sexually harassed someone who would never find him handsome enough to be my boyfriend. That's worse than any time in jail. But I am suing him for money compensation. I love having more money in my bank!"
