Justin Bieber took time out of his busy schedule to spend the day before Valentine's Day with a special fan. The pop star enjoyed several fun-filled hours with 6-year-old Avalanna Routh, who is battling AT/RT, a rare form of cancer. Thanks to the Jimmy Fund, Avalanna was able to "marry" Justin in a pretend ceremony, earning her the name "Mrs. Bieber." The young girl's family then started a Facebook campaign in hopes of orchestrating a meeting with Justin, and when a local TV station in Boston covered the story, The Biebs was watching.
After the 17-year-old heard the news, he flew Avalanna and her family to New York City for a face-to-face meeting, reports 'Today.' The pair played games, gave each other autographs and simply had fun.
"Hangin out with a special little girl. #MrsBieber," Justin tweeted about Avalanna. "That was one of the best things i have ever done. She was AWESOME! Feeling really inspired now! #MrsBieber."
He added, "Got some really great ideas from today. ways to #giveback. #MrsBieber really inspired me. Really." Later, Justin posted a photo from the day with the caption "BEST PART OF MY DAY." It doesn't get any sweeter than that!
